Tequila Margaritas or a Fritos Burrito You Decide

Rim glass with salt, and fill with ice. Using a jigger pour 1.5 ounces of tequila into your glass with ice (or eyeing the glass it fills your glass about ⅓ when cup is filled with ice). Fill rest of glass with Margarita mix. Add lime wedge and serve with a smile.

Pico de Gallo
2 large tomatoes, diced
½ cup finely diced red onion
½ jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed, minced
½ cup cilantro, minced
juice from ½ lime


Green Chili Queso
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed, minced
1 generous tablespoon cornstarch Jet.com
1½ cups milk
4 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded Walmart

Avocado Cream
1 avocado
½ cup sour cream Sears
juice from ½ lime

2 cups Fritos corn chips – Quill



In a large skillet, Cook ground beef until browned. Pour into skillet tomato sauce, and then add half the can of water. Add chilli powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cocoa powder and cumin and then stir in the flour. Cook until mixture starts to bubble, then reduce heat and simmer until the chili is thick, this will take about 30-45 minutes. Drain then rinse the cannellini beans and add them to chili; cook 5 more minutes on simmer.

Pico de Gallo:
Combine the tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño and cilantro in a medium bowl. Add lime juice and stir then season to taste with salt. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Melt butter in a small saucepan and add garlic and jalapeño, cook for a minute or two. Whisk in the cornstarch with fork and then slowly pour in the milk. Bring to boil and cook until the mixture has thickened; add in the cream cheese. Cook mixture until the cream cheese has melted to a smooth sauce sauce. Add cheddar cheese until melted, then stir in green chiles.

Avocado Cream:
After removing pit, scrape out avocado and mash in a bowl. Add sour cream and lime juice, then stir till mixed. Season with pinch of salt.

Working with one tortilla at a time, leave space on borders of burrito. Layer the burritos in following order:

  • Pickled jalapeños
  • avocado cream
  • pico de gallo
  • ½ cup of Fritos
  • queso sauce
  • Chili


Once filled, fold the edges of the burrito over the filling, and wrap until enclosed. Serve and Enjoy!
