A Day in the Life: Yvonne Chang

No two UnFranchise® Owners are alike, and neither are their daily lives! If you’ve ever wondered how other UnFranchise Owners spend their time, when they build their business, or which activities they enjoy in their free time, you’re in luck! Today, we’re sharing what a day in the life of President’s Challenge Winner Yvonne Chang is like. Read on to find out how Yvonne spends her days building her business and enjoying life as an entrepreneur.

Everyday is different because it all depends on my scheduled appointments. I enjoy that there is no fixed schedule to make my daily life a boring routine. I love that I can schedule my appointments at the times I want, so I can wake up at any time I want.  And even if I do have to set my alarm, I wake up with excitement, usually around 9am. When I don’t have an appointment, I will use that time to catch up my sleep, because in addition to being an UnFranchise Owner, I also run the international teams in Singapore and Taiwan. I frequently go sleep around 3am, and every morning I wake up, the first thing I check my phone to see if I received any questions or messages from my partners. I will spend about 30 minutes to 1 hour replying before I even get out of bed.

I divide my days in to 6 sections, and use one week as a measurement to complete what I need to do (something I learned from First Things First by Stephen R. Covey).

Morning – Coring for International Teams, or an appointment to visit my chiropractor.

Lunch – Lunch with my girlfriends, go to an appointment, or read a book.
Afternoon – Exercise & listen to audios, meet up with friends, or go to an appointment.

Dinner – Spend time with kids 🙂

Night – Coring, Small group training, or TLS Training. On the weekends, this is the time my family will eat dinner together.

Midnight – Check Facebook, browse the news, organize, back office management, review my day and share good news with my team.

Weekend – NMTSS, HBP, Events, or take family on an adventure!

Most of our business training is online, and I am so thankful for technology for making this possible. But we still need to attend NMTSS events and bring our team to them as well. In southern California, we have at least one major NMTSS event per month, and we also hold a HBP once a month.  It’s always good to see each partner in person.

There is no specific amount of time I put into this business. My business is my life and my life is business. I use the products every single day, and I share what I love about the products with the people around me. I love helping my friends solve their problems with our products, and I try to do that often. I stay on top of my goals, and look to create a positive lifestyle with what I have learned from the trainings. I teach my kids what I have learned from the trainings and personal experience. Even the business has helped me learn how to manage my marriage with a more mature attitude! Everyday, this business helps me grow to be a better me and the products help me to be a healthier, younger me, and I love myself more than ever before!

I love having the luxury of being able to exercise in the afternoon. I never liked to exercise before, but thanks to the TLS Weight Loss Program, now I do! I take care of myself by making time to exercise, stretch, and get massages, and by taking care of my skin and pampering myself with our products. this is something that can be quite time consuming as we get older; if we don’t take care of ourselves now, than the gravity will!

The happiest moment in my day is when I see my husband and children’s smiling faces. They might not know why I am working so hard, but I know what I am doing now will ensure their happiness and prosperity for years to come. I hope to be able to provide them with a worry-free lifestyle, so they can do what they want to do and not what they have to do. With the experience I have gained while building my UnFranchise Business, I can help them overcome obstacles they will run into on their own personal journey.
