  • Servant leadership. The leader who prioritizes the needs of their team and puts their team’s interests ahead of their own use this method, which can be helpful when a team is struggling and can benefit from a supportive and empathetic approach.

Regardless of the style you adopt, remember that great leaders inspire and motivate their teams and make difficult decisions when necessary. They also communicate effectively with a loving heart, build trust and create a positive and inclusive work environment.

People struggle as leaders for many reasons, including:

  • Lack of confidence: Some people may struggle with self-doubt or insecurity, which can prevent them from effectively leading a team.
  • Inability to communicate: Great leaders are able to clearly and effectively communicate their expectations, goals and feedback to their teams. If a leader cannot communicate sufficiently, it can lead to misunderstandings and confusion, making it difficult for team members to work towards a common goal.
  • Lack of empathy: A leader who doesn’t understand and respond to the needs and emotions of their team members may struggle to build trust and create a positive work environment.
  • Lack of adaptability: Effective leaders can adapt their leadership style to the needs of their team and the situation at hand. If a leader is inflexible and unable to adapt, they may not lead a team successfully.
  • Lack of integrity: A leader who lacks integrity and is not honest or transparent with their team will struggle to gain trust and respect.

These are just a few areas in which leaders may seek to grow. Leaders need to work continually to improve their skills and address any areas of weakness in order to be as effective as possible.
