BV Placement Updates and WebCenters
With the new enhancements to the BV placement policies, it is important for WebCenter Owners to understand how to manage their recurring BV placement from website and digital marketing product clients as well. As you know an Unfranchise Owner may designate one Unfranchise Owner for BV Placement Designation each quarter. This Unfranchise Owner must fulfill the necessary criteria for BV Designation, which is that they must be personally sponsored, correctly enrolled in Unfranchise AutoShip, and have a current subscription to UFMS. If Unfranchise Owner that is listed for designation does not fulfill these criteria, the BV will automatically be placed in the Unfranchise Owner BDC – 0 0 1. For WebCenter Owners we have a BV Placement Tool within your WebCenter Administration. This tool allows a WebCenter Owner to update all webcenter BV with one simple action. You may manage ongoing digital marketing products and recurring client website hosting BV. It is suggested when you update your BV Designation each quarter through you unfranchise.com, that you also log into your WebCenter Administration and update your BV Placement and Defaults. WebCenter BV that is designated in an UnFranchise Owner’s BDC’s that do not fulfill the necessary criteria for designation will result in that BV being automatically placed into your BDC-001. Please review the BV placement policy and guidelines, as well as how to adjust your BV using your WebCenter Administration.
WebCenter Owners manage BV from active clients by setting defaults or managing BV by clients in their WebCenter.If you forget to switch the BV Placement for your active clients, you still receive an email notification to manage the BV associated with that sale. This is for any transaction: website sale, digital marketing products or website monthly hosting.
When a WebCenter sale occurs, you will still receive an email/text message notification that you have an order with BV to place. You have 24 hours to update your placement. This is done in your UnFranchise Business Account under MY ACCOUNT>BV/IBV Placement>MANUAL BV/IBV Placement. In addition, you can split that BV amount over two separate IDs and extension. For instance, you sell a website and receive 200 BV, this can be split with 100 BV going to ID 123456789, ext 002 and 100 BV going to ID 123456789, ext 003. However, this placement must be in any of your BDC extensions or any UnFranchise ID that you have Designated for BV Placement.
