Afternoon of Day 1
Thursday afternoon kicked off with President & COO of Market America Marc Ashley and Vice President Andrew Weissman showing The Plan. “We’re going to take you through, step by step, and show you how easy it is to show this business Plan,” Marc said.
As a team, Marc and Andrew disrupted the idea of complacency, throwing prizes to the crowd and caution to the wind, enlisting UnFranchise Owners (UFOs) from the crowd to come onstage and build their confidence in showing The Plan themselves. “It’s ok to be nervous,” Andrew said, “But don’t let that stop you! You learn as you go, so don’t let nervousness stop you from taking the right steps and having fun.” To wrap up The Plan, a video of JR Ridinger gave three astute guarantees to the UFOs continuing their journey of recruiting:
- If you don’t look, you won’t find anything.
- If you don’t try anything, nothing will ever change.
- This is the most realistic chance you’ll ever have to make it.
Continuing the theme of team building, Director Dritan Hodo took the stage for the second time today to speak on overcoming objections. His team rallied behind him with inspirational advice and personal experiences from Brett Portelli and Allison Abbott. “You need to have the mindset of an objection-conqueror. See yourself as a leader. If you sit and look at these other leaders up here and you think you can’t do that…you can!” Allison said. As with the other presentations today, JR had the final word in video form, entreating viewers to have passion and commit to their dreams in the UnFranchise Business, despite any obstacle.
After an invigorating day, Andrew Weissman and Vice President of Sales Jim Winkler recognized the incredible work ethic of all the UnFranchise Owners who reached new levels. From new UFOs to Executive Supervising Coordinators, the stage overflowed with enthusiasm for each individual’s efforts and sacrifices to accomplish these feats. Booming cheers, shaking floors and strobing lights set the tone — how PROUD we are of our UnFranchise Owners!
