Create Success With In-Person Interactions

Can you feel the excitement? In-person meetings and events, including those hosted in homes, are taking off again and generating so much growth worldwide! It’s no surprise; our business has always been built by people creating relationships. In our line of work, the intangibles matter: a new relationship forged over coffee or a consultation, or a level of trust formed from a casual conversation at an event. In-person meetings and events provide a sense of intimacy, connection and exchange of energy that is almost impossible to experience through video.

We all make great connections when we attend a big event like the upcoming Market America Worldwide | SHOP.COM Leadership School 2023, but we also need to leverage in-person events in homes and other settings. Within my own business, I am finding that people want reasons to get together again, which means it’s the perfect time to take action! If you’re not sure where to start, visit We have outlines, tools and resources for you to utilize so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Here are some ideas to inspire you:

  1. Hold an interactive skin clinic or beauty workshop. All three events detailed below have PowerPoints so you can provide guests with step-by-step instructions about how to use each product while educating them about its unique features. As you talk about the products, attendees can experience them firsthand by passing them around and trying them.   2. Host a Layered Trunk Show.

  4. Extend effective invitations.
