Day 1 Afternoon Session Of MAIC2020: The UnFranchise Marketing App, Trial Size Marketing, Scottie Pippen, And Health Panel

Welcome to the Day 1 Afternoon Session of MAIC2020.

Building Your Business with Motives – Lisa Martin and Leigh Raeder

Director of Field Development for Motives Lisa Martin and Field Consultant for Motives Leigh Raeder kicked off the afternoon session. Lisa explained that Motives is truly for everyone. Lisa said, “Beauty is big business. We’re not just pretty faces. We are powerful entrepreneurs.”

Even in a nontraditional year, it’s important to maintain a professional appearance while working from home. Motives has been proactive during 2020 because people need emotional connection now more than ever. We are all learning different ways to interact with others. Leigh mentioned that emotionally connected customers are more engaged with your brands.

Leigh said, “When you think Motives, think beauty with benefits.” These are things that we can all do: exude a positive attitude, focus on your goals, lead by example, step up and be the leader you want/need. No one has to be an expert. If you’re using the products, use virtual consultations to spread the word. Try 1 consult per week to start out. Do that 4 times and you can make up to $280 profit and 500 BV.

Lisa said, “Take action. There is no better time than now. Perfect timing does not exist!”

After the presentation, Cliff Floyd left a special video message about mental toughness and how entrpeneures are built to handle tough times.

New Products and UnFranchise Marketing App – Marc Ashley

President & COO Marc Ashley returned to the stage for his second presentation of the day. Marc said, “If you don’t make time for your wellness by taking Market America products, you will be faced to make time for your illness.”

Director of nutraMetrix and Clinical Education Dr. Deedra Mason hit the stage to discuss health and wellness. Market America has products that are proactive, not reactive. Dr. Dee introduced the Heart Health System, which received a “product makeover.” Both prickly pair and citrus aurantium were added to the product to help maintain a health body composition. Dr. Dee laughed and said, “If you can’t make it, you need to take it.” A product that’s exclusive to Hearth Health System is Heart Health TriActive. It targets three major areas of health: arterial function, total cholesterol, and homocysteine levels.

Unfortunately, humans deprive themselves of sleep for no reason. We should be getting distractions out of our bedroom such as television. If you don’t sleep enough at night, it can have a negative effect on your body and muscles. Dr. Dee announced that the company created a sleep product better through nature. The product is called Prime Sleep Melatonin Plus. This product is for anyone who may have trouble sleeping from work, stress, or other factors. It’s good for you and your wallets since it’s worth 75% BV and an UC of $19.95. Then, Marc returned to the stage and spotlighted a few watch parties around the world.

Marc transitioned into back-to-school shopping. Now more than ever, we have to pay attention to our children’s health. Executive Vice President Dennis Franks danced his way on the stage in typical “Dennis-fashion.” Dennis said, “We have to do our part in selling the product as well as selling the business. Each and every one of you have the ability to deliver these products who are looking for them and looking for you.”

The four engines that power the UnFranchise Business: Product brokerage system, Internet Marketing & Shopping Annuity, One-to-One Marketing, and Training and Support. The gas for these engines is the Management Performance Compensation Plan. If you’re going to be a great retailer, you need products that you are passionate about. Dennis mentioned that in 2020, e-commerce and online sales are booming. Recognizing Your Success – Andrew Weissman and Jim Winkler

The following groups were recognized for their successful efforts in Market America: Guests and new UnFranchise Owners, Master UnFranchise Owners, Shopping Annuity Master Members, Coordinators, Executive Coordinators, Master Coordinator, Senior Master Coordinators, Professional Coordinators, Supervising Coordinators, National Supervising Coordinator, and Executive Supervising Coordinator. Andrew and Jim also announced the Challenge Winners for each Market America University branch.

After this segment, Jim discussed “JR’s Toilet Segment.”

Prime Joint – Scottie Pippen and Andrew Weissman

Vice President Andrew Weissman introduced 6-time NBA Champion and NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, who joined the stage via Zoom session. Scottie discussed his partnership with Market America and the Isotonix Prime Joint Support Formula. Scottie said, “I’ve had over 15 surgeries in my career. I needed something to support my joints. I wasn’t getting any younger.” Scottie mentioned that without the Prime Joint Support formula, he wouldn’t be as healthy as he is today.

Community Builds Immunity – Dr. Deedra Mason

Director of nutraMetrix and Clinical Education Dr. Deedra Mason hit the stage to conduct a physicians panel. Joining Dr. Dee virtually were MD of Family Practice Laura Hamilton, MD of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist Joseph Carfi, and MD of Functiontional Sports Medicine Cyd Charisse. Dr. Dee preached that “Community builds immunity.” At the core, illness prevention is the act of reducing one’s risk of developing illness.

Dr. Hamilton described how health span equals lifespan. Dr. Hamilton said, “People are just waiting around for an event, to take a magic pill, and get better.” People can control the course and decrease their chances for catching an illness. Your lifestyle can affect your health and it’s Dr. Hamilton’s job as an educator to give people the tools to live a healthy lifestyle.

Next up on the panel was Dr. Carfi, whose speciality is physical medicine & rehabilitation. His job is to prevent a future complication. Dr. Carfi said, “There are two pains. Acute pain and chronic pain.” Acute pain is natural while chronic pain is not good. You won’t be able to function well with chronic pain.Dr. Carfi suggested regular exercise, healthy diet, losing weight, and using supplements to support your body can help UFOs develop a healthy lifestyle.

Finally, Dr. Charisse explained metabolic fitness. Dr. Charisse said, “Sitting is the new smoking. One of the biggest disabilities as we get older is the ability to walk. Moving increases your metabolic fitness.” If you increase your energy, you’re going to feel better. Try to get up and move every 20 minutes. When you exercise, you produce a chemical in the brain that increases your memory and sleep quality. Dr. Charisse said for every 5 pounds of muscle mass you gain, you will burn 50 extra calories per day. Plus, remember that sleep is medicine.

Power Profile – Beth and Pip Black / Tammy Hu

Beth and Pip Black discussed their entrepreneurial journey, which started in 1992. Both of them lost their jobs in corporate America. Beth said, “Right there, we decided that one of us would never go back to corporate America.” In 1996, Beth was introduced to OPC-3 and eventually went to International Convention. After the event, Beth realized the investment in tickets and the business was worth her time and money.

In her power profile, Tammy Hu talked about how she needed a Plan B after her service in the military. Tammy said, “I don’t want to live an average life. I want to help as many people as I can and leave a legacy with this platform.” Tammy shared how she lost 46 pounds after she started using Market America’s products.
