Day 1 of MAIC 2016 was amazingly epic! With 20,000+ UnFranchise Owners in the Greensboro Coliseum, there’s no way you didn’t catch the infectious energy. It was such a memorable day, but knowing that it was only the first day of Convention, there was no way we could ever imagine it would be topped but it was! Day 2 morning session had us on the edge of our seats with all the latest announcements like SHOP.COM Emojis, SHOP Local and UnFranchise Media, just to name a few. The exciting information continues and we want to make sure you don’t miss anything.

With excitement, Andrew Weissman welcomed all UFO’s ready and energized to learn even more for Day 2 of Market America’s International Convention in Greensboro, NC. Andrew announced some of the contest winners that were lucky enough to win tickets to our World Conference 2017 in Miami! Taking advantage of the MAWC promotion will not only save you money but will also allow you to build to the next event.
Adapting to Your Screen. Responsive and Mobile Technologies – Steve Ashley & Kevin Curley
The newly announced President and Chief Operating Officer of SHOP.COM, Steve Ashley and Executive Director of Mobile Technologies, Kevin Curley took the stage to share all new updates to our mobile technology. They immediately started sharing all the new updates to Unfranchise Mobile and the new feature that now allows you to sign up a new partner from the convenience of your own phone!
The new mobile websites that were also updated include: Motives Mobile, TLS Mobile, and Isotonix.com which has recived a complete face lift with a focus on branding Isotonix OPC-3. The highly anticipated recreation of the nutraMetrix website has a whole new look with easy accessibility, and “building convenience for the customer.”.
They wanted to merge into the app world and make updates to the existing apps. The new UnFranchise Media App features now allow you to be able to pick up where you left off when listening to all trainings and audios. The app will also alerts you when there are new audios available. Adding a human element was also important. Executive Director David Whited was invited on stage as a UFO to help champion this new feature of a human element. David will be “a big spear head for the growth of this tool.”.
David shared his moving story of entrepreneurship. He donated plasma 3 times a week in order to afford to go to trainings in the beginning of his UFO business journey. “The biggest explosions in your business come from things that are FREE, it’s easy to say ‘Hi’, it’s easy to read a book,” as he encourages fellow UFO’s to step out of their comfort zones.
Continuing with some of the new updates on the UnFranchise Media App, UnFranchise owners can now show the plan on their tablets, offline capabilities are now available, and you can now send a video to a prospect from the video resource section. Once they’ve viewed the video you receive a notification when they have interacted. This allows for a smooth transition into the follow up process making it easy to build your business.
SHOP.COM was the first responsive webiste of Market America. “Saving money and earning cashback” are the key things that sell our website. Over 23 million dollars in Cashback have been earned. A customer can now view live on SHOP.COM how much cashback, to the minute on a live ticker, has been awarded to those that maximize their shopping experience on SHOP.COM.
The new SHOP Local program (that you will hear more about later!) will also be getting its own mobile application! With a burst of energy, Executive Senior Vice President Loren Ridinger and Co-creator of Lumiere de Vie & DNA Miracles, Amber Ridinger-McLaughlin introduced the three new Lumiere De Vie products that are now part of the stellar skincare line.
One of the first products is a one step ready to go solution called the Lumiere De Vie (LDV) Micellar Cleanser. “It’s great to get rid of all impurities and pollutants that you may accumulated throughout the day,” Amber explained that with just one use of the cleanser (without water) that the one-step system leaves her feeling so clean and refreshed. The Pore minimizing serum is great to combat the signs of aging, which is the second product added. Also making an appearance to the collection is the Super Creme to smooth out all imperfections. Power Profile – Field Leader
Executive Directors David and Stacy Whited enter the stage and share that, “if you understood residual income, you would run through a brick wall to get it.” Their brick wall happened when David was working multiple jobs and Stacy was pregnant with their son. She became very ill and they needed to do something about their situation. Stacy made it a point for you to know “when you don’t leverage yourself, you are someone else’s leverage.” Participate on what creates the difference and what creates leverage. “Work smarter, not harder,” when duplicating with your time. “It’s not magic it’s math,” when you figure out how to get people to build to the next major event. Applying these principles allowed them to have substantial growth in their UnFranchise Business. Attending events and stressing the importance for their teams and partners to join them, was crucial.
