Welcome to the morning session from Day 2 of MAIC2021! We had such a great day yesterday. Let’s keep the momentum going!
Before the presentations started, Rep. Mark Walker spent a few minutes with the crowd and inspired every entrepreneur to go to the next level.
Loren Ridinger
Loren Ridinger – Senior Executive Vice President of Market America Worldwide | SHOP.COM – started Day 2 on a high note with tons of energy. Loren thanked the crowd for showing up in person and on Zoom.
Loren said, “When things happen to you, keep going. GSD – Get Sh*T Done.” Things happen, but Loren explained how you can’t let it stop you from getting to the place you want to be. You have to keep moving.
Loren said, “The only way to get better is to be better. The only way to change is to change.” We all need to protect our energy at all costs. Loren shared a story involving Andrew Weissman and how he needed to protect his own energy in life. Don’t be afraid to do what’s best for you.
Loren urged the crowd to have standards. A lot of us need to get good habits. The comfort zone is where dreams die. It’s time to change our thinking. The one who doesn’t give up reaches their goals. Time is capital, and the one who doesn’t give up reaches their goals. Everyone has three things in common – time, love, and death. As Loren said, “Don’t take major time to do minor things.”
Then, Loren discussed how to be a good listener. You have to come to gripes that not everyone will want to do what you want to do. Stay focused on the things that are major and less time on things that are minor. Instead of evaluating just prospects, we need to evaluate ourselves. The biggest prison we have is in our own minds.
Loren shared a few wise teachings. No happiness, no progress. Progress = happiness. Change your mindset, change your thinking. It’s the only way to change. Your hurt doesn’t determine your worth. As we get older, we may not be able to see as well, but we can see more clearly. We know what’s important. Listen to your heart, and your mind will change.
When it comes to the business, you can either have reasons or results. You have to care enough about yourself to have discipline. Do the things that will make a difference.
Marc Ashley – UnFranchise Marketing & SHOP LIVE
Marc Ashley – President & COO of Market America Worldwide – hit the stage for his second presentation of #MAIC2021. To start, Marc recapped his presentation from Day 1, which you can read in its entirety here.
Then, Marc started his second presentation with a discussion about trial size marketing. One of the best sample packages in Market America is the Isotonix Daily Essentials Trial Size Sample Packets. Now, there will be an option for nutraMetix Daily Essentials packets. Advice to those who want to host an event: practice makes perfect. Set up your broadcast beforehand and practice what you are going to say/do. Preselect your products before your livestream. The “lightning bolt” button is what changes the game for shopping. This button allows viewers to shop for products directly in the livestream. Anyone who watches the livestream can purchase a product. Earn BV/IBV and retail profit on every purchase. The app will track all the purchases so every person responsible for invites will get the appropriate BV and IBV.
With SHOP LIVE, utilize your team members’ strengths to maximize everyone’s sales. SHOP LIVE went live on July 1st in all countries and will now be included with your annual renewal fee.

Layered
Amber Ridinger-McLaughlin – Creator of Lumiere de Vie, Layered & DNA Miracles – and Kim Ashley – Director of Motives & Skincare – teamed up to talk about Layered. This jewelry line holds up anywhere – the beach, a night out, bed, etc. According to Amber, this jewelry lasts and it’s very functional.
Kim and Amber hosted a Layered show where models came to the stage, modeling various Layered products. Layered now has 52 new pieces! Shop here.
