The first two days of World Conference were absolutely amazing! It’s been the perfect combination of fun and learning and there’s still one more day left!
Vice President Andrew Weissman set the stage once again as he started the morning off by thanking the Market America Corporate Team for throwing such a wonderful event. Andrew shared some contest winners as well as highlight some of the best breakout sessions of the event such as the Shopping Annuity breakout.
Let’s get right into the morning session!
SNAP Essentials – Marty Weissman and Tia Barile
Executive Vice President and Chief Negotiating Officer Marty Weissman started the day off by recapping JR’s thought provoking speech from yesterday. Marty mentioned the growth of the SNAP Essentials Kit and how it’s the Isotonix of cleaning supplies. Marty invited his Executive Assistant, Tia Barile, onto the stage to demonstrate how to properly use each of the five cleaners: SNAP All-Purpose Cleaner, Sanitary Bathroom Cleaner, All Fresh™, Stain Remover and Dishwashing Liquid. The best part is with SNAP Essentials refills, you can just reuse your bottles, which saves space and feeds your Shopping Annuity.
Marty broke down the benefits of SNAP Essentials and gave the crowd his selling point. “Where are you going to get 15 bottles of cleaner for essentially $2 each? No one else does this plus it feeds your Shopping Annuity.”
Marty announced that SNAP Essentials Laundry Packs were on the horizon and Tia asked the audience if they would like a scented or unscented pack. After gauging the crowd’s applause levels, Marty said that they’re going to make both! Marty wrapped up with an emotional speech about his history in this company and how the 25th anniversary of this company will be special!
DNA 360 Experience – Amber Ridinger–McLaughlin, Duane McLaughlin, Brandi Murphy, Marty Weissman, and Dennis Franks
In a heart-warming opening, the stage was full of UFOs who shared their inspiring stories about their own little miracles and the issues that they had experienced prior and how DNA Miracles products such as DNA Miracles OPC-3 and Digestive Enzymes are improving their children’s lives.
Creator of Lumière de Vie® and DNA Miracles®, Amber Ridinger, shared her story about how during pregnancy, she experienced a bad chemical reaction after trying off-the-shelf vitamins. This was the turning point for Amber as she decided to educate herself and figure out what was safe to put in her body. Actor/Singer and Creator, DNA Miracles, Duane McLaughlin said DNA Miracles mission is to create safe and effective products for children to keep them nourished and healthy. You have to learn about your children’s allergies and health issues in order to put the right things into their bodies everyday.
Duane said that it is so inspiring to see everyone in this room under one roof with one goal: to better their lives. “Great parenting happens before the baby arrives. Great parenting happens the moment you decide to start a family.” Amber preached that DNA Miracles is now the answer to all your parenting needs to keep your children healthy and nourished.
Duane said that today is a miracle day because they are adding five new products to the DNA Miracles line. Duane invited Director of nutraMetrix Training, Brandi Murphy, out on stage to discuss some of the new products that are now made for older children. These products included:
- Natural Kids Bubble Bath – a mild formula that has long-lasting bubbles and gently cleanses the skin
- Natural Kids Shampoo and Body Wash – Two-in-one formula that gently cleanses hair and skin as well as does not damage the eyes.
- Natural Kids Conditioner – makes hair super soft and helps to strengthen the hair
- Natural Kids Detangler – leave-in spray for detangling and conditioning that reduces flyaways and improves manageability
- Coming soon: Natural Kids Lotion – moisturizes dry skin without the greasy feel
Duane also announced the DNA Miracles Bathtime Box that will be available in two weeks and thanked Market Taiwan for being the inspiration and motivation behind this new product. Marty Weissman came back onstage to praise the new Bathtime box. Executive Vice President Dennis Franks also came on the stage and announced that DNA Miracles is officially a new major in the Market America University. Ultimately, DNA Miracles trainers are eventually on the way as well.
Virtual Reality is the future of learning, and DNA Miracles 360 is the ultimate virtual reality experience. Elizabeth Weber came on stage to try it out and it is beyond revolutionary. It provides you tutorials about how the products are made and tips for nourishing your child.
Supervising Coordinators, Nick & Quimby Franovich, came onto the stage to discuss their beginnings in the business. Nick describe the moment that changed his life: when he met Tom Holden, which inspired the pair to roadtrip with the Holdens to International Convention. Their time spent at Convention with Tom, Brandy Holden, and the rest of the UFOs inspired their belief in Market America and sparked that billionth of a volt that JR always mentions. Quimby said, “It’s all about the power of partnership.” When Quimby and Nick underwent a tragedy with their home, their business partners showed up and helped them out, strengthening the bond of their team. The pair finished their speech by thanking their team members, the Holdens, and urged UFOs to buy tickets to International Convention.
The Power of Pycnogenol – Dr. Steven Lamm
Medical Director at NYU Langone Medical Center and Professor of Medicine, Dr. Steven Lamm, opened his presentation asking about the definition of health and wellness. There are multiple health dimensions such as social, physical, emotional, environmental, mental, and spiritual health. These dimensions are all interdependent and you need the full spectrum for optimum wellness. “You have to believe in the science and educate yourself in order to achieve optimum health.” Pycnogenol can play a big part in staying healthy.
Out of Bounds – Loren Ridinger
Senior Executive Vice President Loren Ridinger fittingly came out to “Don’t Stop Believing.” Loren opened up with a story about how JR challenged her to a game of trivia and how she showed him that women are empowering and intelligent. Loren talked about the definition of comfort zones and how people get trapped in a box because of what society tells them. “When they gave you that blueprint for life, they forgot to tell you how to dream!”
Loren shouted to the crowd that you don’t need to be the most talented in the room. You just need to be the hardest working person in the room. You don’t know what happens tomorrow so you need to fix things now. Loren mentioned that her parents hard work were the inspiration that lead Loren to fight for a better life.
The way that people should provide for their family is with love, not money. Without love, it will only lead to chaos in your life. You have to change your thinking and decide to step out of your comfort zone. Loren asked the crowd “Have you become what you want other people to say?” We need to fill our minds with happiness and take control of our own lives instead of filling them with drugs and vices that can suffocate your well-being.
Loren started to really inspire the crowd with her phrases and sayings. Imagination is much more powerful than knowledge. If you’re dreaming, you don’t need the knowledge because you’ll figure it out on the way. If you’re in pain and suffering, don’t let it stop you. Do something and get out of it! “Don’t be afraid that your life will end. Be afraid that it never began.”
The crowd started to get louder and louder as Loren made them repeat the following saying “I am enough.” You don’t need anyone to tell you what you can or can’t do. Everything you’ve ever wanted is one step outside your comfort zone. It’s important to make time for the people that make you feel special. If they don’t treat you the way you should be treated, then leave.
Loren brought up JR’s previous phrase of “The money is just the scoreboard.” The real effort comes in the process. This is where the blood, sweat, tears and pain will happen. No one has ever gotten successful without skipping the process. Effort and hardwork can pay for the rest of your life. Be like the lion who is the hunter and wants to put in the work and follow the process. “It’s time to stop making excuses and take one step out of the box and start your lif!”.
In a touching moment, Loren shared the inspirational stories of Jim Winkler and Cliff Floyd. Both have experienced tragic losses, but they did not let that stop them in life. They honored their loved ones by living life to the fullest and achieving success. Loren shared the story of UnFranchise Owner Trina Maduro, who built her business from a women’s shelter because she would not let her home situation be an excuse in her life. She took back her life and brought 60 people to World Conference today.
You are responsible for you. It is your job to make yourself happy. Problems are a part of your life, but don’t make them your life! Loren finished her speech with the two most powerful words you can say, “I am.”
Jerry Siciliano Award – Loren Ridinger and Marty Weissman
Senior Executive Vice President Loren Ridinger and Executive Vice President Marty Weissman came to the podium on the stage to present the Jerry Siciliano Award. The pair reminisced about Jerry and played a video that highlighted Jerry’s important contributions to Market America as a businessman and more importantly, as a friend. Jerry is known as “The Godfather of Market America.”
Loren shared how Jerry was a lover and how he loved to fix things. Marty spoke about how Jerry’s wife is still earning a significant residual income because of the outstanding work that Jerry was able to establish.
The 2017 Jerry Siciliano Award was awarded to Gary Rodgers. If you are not familiar with Gary’s story, his daughter received the tragic news that she was diagnosed with cancer. Because Gary has such a strong Market America business, he was able to stop what he was doing and live off of his residual income as he sought the best treatment for his daughter. Thankfully, Gary’s daughter is currently in remission. Here’s more on Gary’s story. http://bit.ly/2hUT0oZ
Gary was full of emotion as he accepted the prestigious award and thanked everyone who has helped him along the way.
Supervising Coordinator Brett Portelli made his way to the stage to share his story with the crowd. Brett is only 25 years old, but he has seen a lot of success because of his “never settle” attitude. Brett started his business when he was 19 years old and said it was “all about him” in the first two years and he described it as horrible. In 2013, something clicked for Brett. It was not until his sister taught him the value of humility and compassion. Brett went from 13 people in his meetings to over 230 people in attendance today at World Conference. Brett said “You always fight for your brother and sister next to you. You have to be there for them.”
Wow! We cannot believe that there is only one more session today! We are going to finish off strong – stick around!
