There’s a first time for everything and having a Day 4 at MAIC days excitement proved to be worth the wait! After a weekend filled with refreshing information, it was great to see so many enthusiastic UFOs ready to learn even more. Lets recap on the added bonus day:
Andrew Weissman welcomed us to the last day of MAIC 2016 with much excitement. The dedicated UFO’s that attended Day 4 were so ready and pumped to spend yet another day learning about what they can do to further expand their UnFranchise. “You’re here because you made the commitment” and those that commit will make it far. He announced the winner of the MY WHY bracelet contest, shared excitement about DNA Miracles soon becoming a University and how fast the MAWC 2017 tickets are selling out.
Conquer Etertainment artist Justina Valentine was then invited to the stage to pump up the crowd for Day 4! Her energy and excitement filled the room and her performance was one to remember.
Recruiting with the Shopping Annuity – Carl Ecklund, Julie Landsiedel, Ryan & Sarah Rose Stack
Director Carl Ecklund also known as Mr. “Shopping Annuity”, expressed his belief in the power of the Basic 5 and its power for you to expand your business. His favorite step is “prospecting and recruiting” which allows him to meet new people and show them the plan.
He loves to visit coffee shops and asking folks if they keep their business options open. He shows them the plan and as they seem interested he goes into the opportunity of partnering. “Once they shake my hand, psychologically they are committed,” Carl shared a few inside tip on how to obtain the commitment from a business prospect.
“I believe in you, probably more than you believe in yourself,” Carl shared that he knows the power of the Shopping Annuity and believes in you. “We use this tool to grow our business,” he stressed that we cannot think we can’t hit the SABP but to “just do it”.
“Believing and Knowing,” that the Shopping Annuity is the answer, was the mindset that Carl encouraged us to achieve.
National Supervising Coordinator Julie Landsiedel passionately entered the stage with a bright smile ready to share with us how TLS changed her life. “I had some magic moments at convention,” which is why she keeps coming and why she has seen substantial growth in her business.
Everyone builds differently, with the same goal in mind as Julie shared, “I don’t call myself a recruiter; I build belief in people.” She believes that if you invest in people, you will see a huge return. “Do what has a high rate of return, for the time that your spending.”
Julie really has a passion for people as she is a nurse practitioner and cares about the health of those around her. She found a way to join that passion with becoming wealthier. “Our products make us healthy and our business make us wealthy,” she believed in the products before she ever knew there was a business opportunity behind it.
Julie was introduced to TLS and OPC-3 and it changed her life after tearing her ACL and needing to recuperate. She began to feel so much better about herself and her health progressed.
She used the business to spread the word about becoming healthy. She incorporated TLS and Wellness 101 into events to grow her business and loved it. “They ended up recruiting me,” she says. She realized that this business is a lifestyle and those around you become influenced when you’re being a good influence.
“Be HAPPY, smile, have a positive social media presence,” was how she powerfully concluded her segment.
Supervising Coordinators, Sarah Rose and Ryan Stack eagerly shared, “our team is growing faster than ever”. Ryan and Sarah spoke about the passion their kids have for the Shopping Annuity, “it’s a family thing!”
They are realizing that a new wave of powerful UnFranchise Owners have been growing rapidly. “It’s all because of the Shopping Annuity,” and the power of converting their spending into earning. They stressed that your customers are already shopping online but may need some guidance on where to start.

Shopping Annuity Panel Discussions – Jim Winkler, Andrew Weissman and Field Leaders
Andrew Weissman enters the stage again to introduce some of our top leaders and Shopping Annuity Ambassadors. Executive Coordinator Barry Golomb, Director Wendy Moquin, and Executive Director Bonnie Philo were so excited and ready to share their tips on how they managed to hit the Shopping Annuity Bonus Program (SABP) and convert their spending into earning.
Going through and filling out the Shopping Annuity Assessment, changing your mindset so that converting your spending into earning becomes a habit and choosing to do it is second nature. Powerful statements were shared this morning by these awesome leaders.
One of the obstacles that Barry encountered was getting his family on board. After sharing with them that the Cashback and IBV was worth taking the time to shop online, they were on board.
Years ago, Bonnie Philo received a call from top leader Elizabeth Weber to ask about why she was not participating in the Shopping Annuity. After Elizabeth took the time to show her why this was a revolution, she decided to put a plan in place. “You can’t teach what you don’t know and you can’t lead where you won’t go.” Once she knew where to go, she was able to lead those around her and her team and show them that converting their spending into earning was very easy.
“Change is the hardest,” Wendy expressed as she couldn’t wrap her head around spending $3,000 a month with shopping online to hit the SABP. She later realized that she was already doing the spending because she loves to shop. After putting together an action plan she managed to hit all SABPs!
Special Presentation: Great News About the GMTSS & Why You Need to Be Involved and the Logic Behind the System – JR & Loren Ridinger
Founder, Chairman & CEO JR Ridinger and Senior Executive Vice President Loren Ridinger, enter the stage congratulating the crowd for making it to Day 4 of MAIC 2016. They were so excited to share all the details of the Global Meeting Training Seminar System.
They are aware that in some areas of the country, UFO’s travel long distances to make it to a training. “We are trying to change that and you have to be the change,” as she asked those in that circumstance to stand up. We were overjoyed to see the two on stage, sharing a special moment with us about how much faith they have in this business and in the training sessions that are available to continue to grow and strengthen teams.
Jim Winkler was invited to the stage after the Ridingers to share further details with us about the GMTSS. He breaks down that the GMTSS is the company’s efforts to bring more trainings, local seminars, regionals, etc. into your area so that everyone can become stronger UFO’s
“Leaders build other leaders,” which is why trainings are so important for your growth in this business.
“Get involved!” Million dollar earners were asked to stand up and when those that have participated in the volunteer aspect of the GMTSS, it’s no surprise that the same leaders stood up. Be a part of the change.
All of the volunteers were invited on stage to be recognized for the amazing work with building the formally known as the NMTSS, now the GMTSS.

The trio explained how they built these new product apps and programs that are now available to UnFranchise Owners to use in their reach.
A new way to reach customers is through the SHOP.COM APN program – it is now available for use. All UFOs can now leverage social media, bloggers and influencers to push their SHOP.COM portal. This tool is going to be huge for not only spreading the word about the Shopping Annuity – but attracting customers to your site.
“So how does this work? How do we do this?” Well, for your convenience a brand new app and feature center is now available in your App store in UnFranchise to help you setup your APN. Paul, Eugene and Michael explained how to set up your very own APN. Believe it or not – this system is so easy! Even on day 4 there are big announcements! Charlie spoke to us this afternoon on the re-launched SHOP Financial. “We know we have debt, and we are constantly encouraged to get more,” Charlie spoke on some of the ways that we incur debt, just by leading normal lives.

Global Unification: Asia & Europe IRC – Phil Guido
Everybody in this business gets at least 4 business development centers available to them when they start their UnFranchise Business. Phil rolled us through the global unification process and the 4th business development center, the IRC. If you wish to register business partners with this system (003), and all of this information is available to you in the back office.
Phil explained that you are allowed to build in an entirely different region of the world and that the possibilities are endless if you grow into other Market countries and build your network in somewhere other than your market. The time is now to intermingle your business into different regions so that you can compound your business and exponentially grow your income.
He encouraged scheduling a meeting with your team post International Convention to discuss how you are going to make this expansion happen. If you are not leveraging this International Opportunity, then you are missing a huge opportunity of this business.
TLS Business Building – Dennis Franks & Susan Pasqual
Although the last presentation of the action packed 4 day weekend, Dennis and Sue still came dancing out onto stage to discuss how your can build your business with TLS Weight Loss. “We’ve been getting a lot of high level approached this weekend. We really want to take a few minutes and really dig in here,” Dennis said. Additionally, all of the information that they are going to discuss will be in your TLS backoffice so that you can go home and build your action plan.
The two first talked about setting goals, so that the details that you focus on on a daily basis ultimately amass over time so that you can reach those goals. “Sign the commitment page and email it to your senior partner and hold yourself accountable when joining the TLS business – set the bar high,” sue said. Reiterating that point, Dennis and Sue told us how we need to set the bar high, measure and monitor to achieve those goals and use your resources and believe in your products!
Rely on the business building fundamentals – there is no need to reinvent the wheel! They encouraged UnFranchise Owners to rely on the process that is laid out and believe in it. Build a sales organization, identify your why, show the plan twice a week, book the next meeting, believe in your products, support your team and grow your TLS business with the steps that WORK!
