We’ve reached the finish line. The 4th and final day of MAIC 2017 came and went as we closed the book on the greatest International Convention in the company’s history.
Vice President Andrew Weissman congratulated every UFO in the coliseum for sticking around and having a great convention. Andrew teased the upcoming day as there are a lot of important panels today from different divisions in the company.
Shopping Annuity Panel
Executive Coordinator Michelle Charland kicked the panel off by sharing her excitement for the Shopping Annuity. Michelle started her business in 2014 when the Shopping Annuity was just starting. She and her family went throughout her house and replaced all of the products with BV and IBV products. The Charland family easily gets over 500 BV per month because they love the products.
Michelle shared a personal story of how her son suffered a serious life condition. She started to give him Isotonix products and after 7 days, he was able to leave the hospital and go home. “My passion is Market America and sharing the good news of the products to change people’s lives.” The power of Isotonix and TLS has changed the lives of Michelle and her customers because their health has drastically approved. Why wouldn’t you take these products and share them on social media.
Senior Master Coordinator Heidi Gruss shared her Shopping Annuity story about how her family has all bought into the business. Heid has two daughters and they both already know the power of the Shopping Annuity and UnFranchise family. They live the business all the time because they accumulate over 800 BV per month. “This is about sharing how these products can change people’s lives.”
Heidi says when you post on social media, you get a lot of curiosity and questions, which is awesome. You’ll never run out of people to talk to. You can show prospects how much you have earned and saved over the years. “This business is what you need!” When you use the Shopping Annuity, it is an investment in your future. Heidi credits Ryan Stack to helping her grow and build in this business.
Professional Coordinator Trina White came onto the stage and said that we have the best products on this planet. Trina shared an inspirational story about how her friend had radiation treatment for cancer and used aloe to help alleviate the pain and it worked!
Trina White also shared her story about how she was abused and unfairly treated in her previous job. Trina took back her life, left her job, and became an entrepreneur in Market America. 3 important ways to build a winning team are practicing, working hard
Director Carl Eklund talked about how this is his 9 year anniversary in this business. Carl touched upon how belief has taken over this business. Carl said they had an event before World Conference a month before and had 200 RSVPs within two days.
Carl explained the problem when people first start this business. People come in with good intentions, but they are not educated properly. “The first time you order things, it can be tough. It will take you some time. By the sixth time, it takes no time at all.” When you bring a new partner on, you have to sit down with them and show them what to do. Get with your people and educate them on this business. The Shopping Annuity is the future. You just have to practice.
Motives Business Building – Kim Ashley and Lisa Martin
Director of Motives and Skincare Kim Ashley and Director of Field Development for Motives Lisa Martin talked about all of the new products that have been announced. The custom blend jars were a big hit. “Have fun with this. It should be fun!” Kim encouraged feedback and said to let the Motives team know what you think about products.
Lisa encouraged Motives UFOs to print out all of the Motives guides in color to share with your customers. When you buy your Motives Welcome gift, the guide will come with the pack. Kim announced there will be new support videos coming to Motives YouTube channel which will make it easier to learn about this business. For more training, attend and Motives Beauty and business academy training. They’re hoping to launch the Motives Masters Program as well as well as strengthen one of the trainings and call it the “Motives Apprentice Program.” Also, join the Beyond Beauty Contest.
Executive Director Tom Holden explained how he has been with this company for 21 years. 20 years ago, Tom went to a convention with a lot of hopes and dreams, asking if this would be the time that everything clicks. Tom compared himself to “Joe Nobody” in JR’s presentation at his first convention. Tom credit the UnFranchise media player as the the most important aspect of this company besides people. “Let this be your magic moment. This could change my life and change my children’s lives. I could leave a legacy.”
In this business, you have to have the tools to do the work. The tools are the tickets to the event. It’s the only way to get leverage in your life. Tom is glad he sold out in this business because it changed his life. If you use these tools, you will get to spend the time with the people that you love.

Director of nutraMetrix Training Brandi Murphy came out to discuss the wonders of nutraMetrix. It’s not about just cold calling doctors. It’s about supporting health professionals in their business and show them the products and services nutraMetrix offers. Brandi invited National Sales Manager for nutraMetrix Sarah Tugender to the stage to discuss nutraMetrix Consultant trainings. “80% of sales are made from the 5th to the 12th contact with clients.”
At the trainings, the first thing to do is discover your why. Brandi invited two doctors onto the stage to talk about their practice and why they chose nutraMetrix. One of the doctors talked about how the death of his father inspired him to change the way he does business and started to use nutraMetrix. The other doctor believes there is a problem with the initial diagnosis and how doctors are prescribing the wrong medicine for treatment. By turning to nutraMetrix, it’s saving lives.
Brandi then invited NC’s on stage to share how they have built through nutraMetrix and how it has positively affected their business.
WebCenters – Sarah Rose Stack
Director of Internet Sales and Training Sarah Rose Stack came out on the stage to talk about B2B Solutions, marketing and the Shopping Annuity. Sarah stressed that since everyone is on their phones today, it’s important for small businesses to have mobilized websites. “WebCenters is a proven, duplicatable system to provide small business owners an effective internet presence.” WebCenters can lead to increased revenues and decreased costs.
Sarah Rose brought out Jason Pelland to the stage and welcomed him as the next member of the WebCenters team. Jason talked about the new resources such as the marketing manual, comparison chart, and coming soon, the welcome guide. Jason urged the crowd to enter the consult to close contest.

Executive Vice President Dennis Franks and Director of Field and Development and Sales for TLS Susan Pasqual brought the energy to the stage to talk about the Transitions Lifestyle System, also known as TLS. Both shared their stories about how TLS has inspired them to better their lives. TLS is a fat loss program, improves your energy, a new attitude, and a healthy lifestyle solution.
“It’s all about asking questions. Do you have a need? Do you have a desire to improve? These are the questions you need to ask others when talking about TLS.” The four components of TLS are low glycemic impact eating, improve body composition, support supplements, and education.

Dennis and Susan brought up a TLS success story where an 18 year old kid lost over 25 pounds to help him out in baseball. Then, TLS Global Challenge Champions were brought onto the stage to celebrate their accomplishments. From there, Dennis and Susan talked about the TLS Action plan and what UFOs need to do to grow their UnFranchise through TLS such as listening to audios and reading the business guide.
Dennis ended the convention with a speech about realizing your potential and the time to act is now. “Luck is simply you preparing for the opportunity. I believe in Market America.”
