Introducing the #ShoppingAnnuity Video Contest!

UnFranchise Owners: How would you like to WIN a free ticket to the 2015 Market America World Conference? All you have to do is submit a video to our #ShoppingAnnuity video contest, and you might be one of the 10 (yes, TEN!) lucky winners to attend MAWC 2015 on us! 

Introducing…the #ShoppingAnnuity Video Contest!

As you know, the Shopping Annuity is key feature of our business that offers you, the UnFranchise Owner, the ability to turn your spending into earning. To do so, all you have to do is replace “negative” products (like Tide laundry detergent) with Market America – branded products (like SNAP laundry detergent) and get your business partners to do the same. Simply by purchasing ma® branded products from your own SHOP.COM site, you’re investing money back into your own business, earning Cashback and supporting your team.

Contest overview

 All UnFranchise Owners are invited to participate in the #ShoppingAnnuity video contest! To enter, simply create a short video showing how you get rid of negative products and replace them with ma® branded products.

Your requirements:

1) Incorporate the phrase “Shopping Annuity” into your video (both in the caption and also by saying it in the video).

2) Nominate two or more of your fellow UnFranchise Owners (can be business partners, friends, or family members) to create their own #ShoppingAnnuity video by calling them out in your video. Call them out by name, and make sure to tag them in the caption of the post so they see it!

3) Be creative and have FUN with it!

The more creative, funny, thought-provoking, or unique your video is, the more likely it is to get noticed by our esteemed panel of judges (AKA the Market America social media team).

Note: Please do not say your personal SHOP.COM portal link or incorporate it into the video. You may, however, post your portal link in the CAPTION of your video if desired. 

How to submit videos: You can submit your video on Facebook or Instagram. Here’s how:

  • Instagram: Post the video to your Instagram profile. The caption (not your video) must include the phrase “#ShoppingAnnuity Contest” and tag @marketamerica. Remember, Instagram videos are limited to 15 seconds, so keep it short, sweet and to the point!
  • Facebook: Participants must post their video submission directly onto the Market America Facebook Page and incorporate the phrase “#ShoppingAnnuity Contest” in their post caption. Participants can either: 1) share the video onto the ma® Facebook Page from their personal Facebook profile, or 2) upload the video directly to the ma® Facebook Page. Videos posted on personal profiles that are not shared onto the ma® Facebook Page won’t be eligible.
  • YouTube: Participants must incorporate the phrase “#ShoppingAnnuity Contest”  into their video title. In addition, participants must either: 1) share the video directly onto the ma® Facebook Page (by posting a link to the video directly on the page), or 2) send a private message to the ma® Facebook Page with a link to the video).

You can enter as many times as you want, but remember: we’re evaluating videos for quality, not quantity, so make your video a good one!

Prizes: 10 contestants will be selected by the Market America Social Media team to win one ticket each to the 2015 Market America World Conference. In addition, all 10 winning video submissions will be featured in a Market America promotional video which will debut during MAWC 2014.

Contest deadline: The video contest will begin on November 12th, 2014 and end on January 11th, 2015 at 11:59 PM EST. Videos will be evaluated for creativity, originality, and how well they convey the message of replacing negative products with ma® branded products. Winners will be announced at various intervals throughout the duration of the contest, with the final winner being announced on January 14th, 2015.
