If you will be using public transportation to make your way around town for MAIC 2017, both Uber and Lyft are great options with both offering options for large and small groups. Fares from the Greensboro airport to the Sheraton range from $12-$16. There are also taxis and shuttle services available through many hotels. This site will tell you the taxi fare from point A to point B as well as numbers for each business if you’d like to compare your options.

With a variety of taco options with intriguing flavor combinations, this place is sure to hit the spot if chips and guac just aren’t cutting it. There are even delicious vegan options!
3300 Gate City Blvd.
Another great spot close by is Darryl’s! With a family-friendly atmosphere and quite the extensive menu, their American-style selection is sure to offer something right up your alley.
1918 West Gate City Blvd
A local favorite, Natty Greene’s doubles as its own craft brewery in the heart of Greensboro. They offer great vegetarian options as well as dairy and gluten-free choices to boot!
622 Green Valley Road
With a selection of southern-style fare with a European twist, Green Valley Grill is a great place to go if you’re up to an upscale dinner treat. The space itself is green and gorgeous, so it’s a great spot to grab a few other MAIC friends and chat!
3110 Kathleen Ave.
If the weather is nice, the Friendly Center is a great open-air complex where you can browse the shops while you enjoy the best of both worlds: sunshine and air conditioning!
410 Four Seasons Town Centre
Just in case the weather is a bit rainy, Four Seasons is a great enclosed mall in town. With three stories, you’ll find just about anything you could go looking for here.
Spanning the blocks of Davie St.
With more than a dozen art galleries and studios, this is a great place to explore the less commercialized areas of the city. Here, you can browse local vendors, coffee shops, antique stores and smaller local restaurants along the historic streets.
130 Summit Ave.
If you’ve got some time to spare, this is a great place to learn about the city and it’s history! Greensboro truly is a great place with a rich history that is worth learning about if you’v got the time.
208 N Davie Street
Open for just over a year, this park is a beautiful addition to the blossoming downtown area! It is surrounded by restaurants and street vendors, and you might even catch yoga or Zumba in the park if you pop in at the right time.
