Tony Bowling Award
On Day 3, President and COO of Market America Worldwide, Marc Ashley, said, “Today, we are here to celebrate Tony’s life, pay respect to all of the things he accomplished, and honor him with the first-ever Tony Bowling Award.” Tony and Pam Bowling became two of the most accomplished, respected, and successful entrepreneurs in Market America’s history. Loren joined Marc onstage to share that Tony is the “heart of Market America.”
The criteria for the award can be described in three words: loyalty, integrity, and character. In a very emotional moment, Marc and Loren announced the first recipient of the Tony Bowling Award, Pam Bowling. Unfortunately, Pam was not able to attend because she is focusing on her health. Market America is sending positive thoughts and love to Pam; and Marc, Loren, and JR accepted the award on Pam’s behalf.
The Younger Generation of UFOs
The future is bright with the next generation of entrepreneurs leading the way! We heard from a lineup of team members from the New Energy Group who shares inspiring stories, their successes, and even their missteps along the way. The audience took notes as the speakers gave tips for team building, the evaluation approach and believing in yourself. Marc Ashley & Steve Ashley
On Day 2, President and COO of Market America Worldwide, Marc Ashley, was all about the Shopping Annuity! After recapping new products that he announced on Day 1, Marc moved on to review the everyday Super IBV products we offer such as mouthwash, pain reliever and more. Marc then announced that Rastelli’s Meat will be added to the Super IBV line! There are currently four fresh market bundles that include high-quality meats like chicken breast, steaks, ground beef, and top sirloin. Marc announced that fresh fish and seafood can now be ordered from your UnFranchise account. These packs on Rastelli’s have an instant IBV value of 22%. Marc then announced a new partnership with Tidal, one of the top music streaming services on the market. UFOs can earn up to 25% reoccurring IBV monthly!
The Shopping Annuity Master Member Program was the next topic of conversation. With all of the IBV enhancements, there’s no easier time to qualify for the SAMM than now! Since this change was implemented, the increase in IBV accumulation from UFOs has increased exponentially! Marc said that the company has made it easier to hit the 10, 20, 30 IBV accruals. Marc introduced the Shopping Annuity Kits. There are four 10 IBV kits, two 20 IBV kits, and two 30 IBV kits.
To explain the new technology on SHOP.COM, President and COO of SHOP.COM, Steve Ashley joined Marc onstage. Steve said that SHOP.COM releases 100s of new products each week. Steve said all 30+ Market America brands will have exclusive pages on SHOP.COM by World Conference.
The search on SHOP.COM is rapidly increasing. Now, there have been 300 million Partner Store Products and counting in the database. This makes it super easy to search and adds no pressure to your customer. It should be on SHOP.COM by September and soon after, UnFranchise.com.

On Saturday, 20,000 UnFranchise Owners were inspired and empowered by Senior Executive Vice President, Loren Ridinger. Loren began by saying,
“The fact that you’re here is everything. You don’t need anyone else but yourself.”
Loren discussed how UFOs need to check their circle. You need to surround yourself with people who support your goals and dreams. It is time to break your thinking. Find people that challenge you and force you to be better. “Don’t be one of those people who go on in life with the hand brake on your car. You need to act and you need to have a ‘why,’” said Loren.
Loren used examples of UFOs like Elizabeth Weber who followed the plan, heard a lot of “no’s,” but kept fighting until she found the right people to qualify. Just like flipping through a deck of cards, flip through people who are bad for you until you find the right people.
Think different. Loren said, “Action, attitude, and atmosphere are important. What is the most important? It’s atmosphere. Stay in your atmosphere where you succeed. Leave your atmosphere and go up against the enemies and you’ll lose!”

The Close – JR Ridinger
The most memorable presentations always belong to Founder, Chairman, and CEO JR Ridinger. After explaining how the UnFranchise Business is completely different from MLM business models, JR stated the major advantages of the MA opportunity and UnFranchise System. They are: 1) Based on providing high-quality market driven consumables, exclusive products for UFOs to use, sell and distribute, 2) Implementing one-to-one marketing and trail size marketing 3) UFOs have the option to accrue volume month-to-month until they get paid AND exercising this option covers accruing volume month-to-month in every qualified personal BDC, 4) develop the business vertically in-depth, and 5) open GMTSS. “Nobody else has what we have. For a fair price, you get this business in a box.” said JR.
JR revealed the five steps to establishing an UnFranchise Business. They are: Apply, create, qualify, activate, and educate. JR said, “I would not be here today if I did not have a successful experience as a kid. I would know nothing had it not been for my ticket story.” JR set a record of selling 100 tickets in 90 days. Tickets mean education and belief in the business. This lesson translated to the importance of tickets for International Convention and World Conference.
Then, JR explained how humans were created with a billion-dollar brain. We can choose, decide, and create. We determine what goes in and out of our mind. This is what JR means when he says we can “program our brain.” Inputting the right information and visualizing your dreams is key.
JR taught the crowd about momentum and inertia and related it to his flip off of Utopia IV. If you start the process, gravity and momentum will take care of the rest.
JR closed his presentation by sharing past magic moments in the company. From when Marc and Loren convinced JR to keep going in the beginning to acquiring SHOP.COM, Market America continues to inspire thousands of entrepreneurs. As JR always says, “You never know when that billionth of a volt will spark.”
