During MAIC2017, one of the reoccurring topics throughout the week was the Shopping Annuity. It’s clear that the Shopping Annuity is continuing to evolve because as JR Ridinger says, “the Shopping Annuity is going to be uberized.” Understanding how to convert spending into earning must be understood in order to succeed as an UnFranchise Owner.
In addition to the on-stage presentations, the Shopping Annuity had their own breakout session on Saturday, 8/12. Everything that was covered on the main stage was covered at the breakout on a more in-depth level as well as on a more interactive level with the audience. Some of the topics discussed were the Shopping Annuity 360 Experience, the aftermath of the SABP, and how 500 BV is more than attainable in your household.
Vice President of Business Integration Chris Peddycord hit the stage to talk about the ‘Uberization’ of the Shopping Annuity. Chris discussed the new updates to the Shopping Annuity Assessment. It’s all about personalization and better tracking. Every major event in your life (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) will be tracked and you will be given personalized lists to make sure your gift is exactly what they want. Long story short, the assessment’s facelift will make it easier to determine what products you use on a daily basis.
Chris stressed that everything on UnFranchise.com is going to be more mobile friendly. Now, you will be able to take and have access to the Shopping Annuity Assessment on your phone. In the Assessment, there will be a more interactive Market America exclusive brand page. You will get a product image, price, and BV for each product. All of the personalization and customization can lead to more residual income into your pocket. Also, one thing that just went live was UnFranchise Autoship on mobile. Chris also touched on the new Shopping Annuity BV Consumption line that will come out in the future, which you can vote on by taking the survey here.
The passionate “Professor” Kevin Buckman discussed how UFOs are the best at retailing products. If you use the products everyday, you should have no problem describing the products because of your first-hand experience. “You can’t talk about a movie you never saw. Same thing with the products. You have to use the products!”
Kevin also discussed how the meaning of the SABP became misconstrued. Kevin said that everyone was focused on hitting a number instead of changing your lifestyle. The bonus is not the Shopping Annuity. A bonus is a bonus. With the introduction of the new BV consumption line, it should make hitting 500 BV more attainable to the average UFO.
Ryan Kimball, Michelle Charland, and Len Allen all talked about 500 BV and how every UFO can easily hit that number every month. It all comes down to using the products. If you use the products and replace non Market America brands with our products, 500 BV will become easier to hit. One suggestion was to add a new product every month to your Autoship in order to raise your BV levels. You’ll most likely end up keeping it as well! All three stressed that the Shopping Annuity can truly change your life.
Finally, Mr. Shopping Annuity Carl Eklund and Don Martin both echoed the idea that education is necessary when it comes to the Shopping Annuity. You need to sit down and take the time to listen to audios, watch previous presentations, and go over the UBP.
