Motives – Maria Checa
Creative Consultant Maria Checa kicked off the afternoon session with new information on Motives®. Maria talked about what’s trending in terms of what’s coming in stores. Clashing colors is in. Different prints are going to seem like they don’t match, but they actually go with each other. Leopard prints, smokey colors, and neutral colors are going to be vital for your fall look. Motives In The Mix is what’s on tap for September. New products for the Fall include the new liquid metal eye shadow, lip primer, double take lipstick duo, muah vanilla lip mask, muah vanilla lip scrub. Maria told the crowd to “Get in the mix and go show the world what Motives is all about!”
Royal Spa & Fixx – Kim Ashley
Director of Motives & Skincare Kim Ashley introduced the new brand, the Royal Spa brand. The first three products are part of a brown sugar collection. It includes the foaming brown sugar scrub, brown sugar bath and shower gel, and moisturizing brown sugar body lotion. The fourth product is the scalp revival scrub, which will exfoliate the scalp. Changing gears, Kim announced new products for Fixx. They included the humidity cream, color shield sulfate free shampoo, and color shield conditioner.
The Right Way / The Wrong Way – Kevin Buckman & JR Ridinger
After the new beauty products were introduced, Special Projects Consultant Kevin Buckman hit the stage to discuss how to build the business. There is the right way to build and the wrong way to build. Kevin said, “If you give up the time, the energy, the knowledge, and yourself to the people who deserve your time, watch what happens.”
Kevin explained the symbiotic triangle. The three sides are the company, the field, and the law. All three must be maintained equilaterally. In all actuality, the regulatory agencies make our business stronger because they promote the result-producing activities. There are compliance basics such as direct selling and network selling that must be followed in order to build the right way.
Kevin broke down what regulatory agencies look for out of Market America. In other words, regulatory agencies are looking for UnFranchise Owners to build the “right way.” You have to get out their and sell product. You can’t just buy products in bulk and sell them on the side to third parties. That is illegal. This is why there are trainings in place. It is your management responsibility to assist your team before you can collect another check. All of this information will be available in the UnFranchise Training section on UnFranchise.com.
The number one selling product is the UnFranchise Business Development System. It’s not OPC-3 or any other product. The business is our main seller because it is the backbone of Market America. Over 26 years, this system has stood the test of time. If you build it once, you can build it again, and again, and again. That’s what residual income is all about. Do it once and it can pay you forever if you build it right!
To describe the right way and the wrong way, Kevin said, “It is because it is. If it isn’t, it’s because it is not.” The right way includes completing the Shopping Annuity Assessment and maximizing the use of exclusive products so there is a genuine demand for these items in your household. The wrong way is the complete opposite. You don’t do the Assessment and you don’t use the products. How can you build the business the wrong way? You can’t!
Unfortunately, there are some UnFranchise Owners who build the wrong way. Kevin explained how UFOs can order products and take advantage of the system. They decide to use third party sites to sell products. They do not care about changing their lives with residual income. They only care about making money. The unauthorized sale of products is illegal. We need our leaders to step up and stop this!
Kevin said, “Each and every one of you is part of a team. Team Market America. As a member of the team, every person is expecting you to execute the play that is call. When you do not perform, you let every member of the team down. They are depending on you.”
After Kevin finished, Founder, Chairman & CEO JR Ridinger came onto the stage to reiterate what Kevin said and his presentation from this morning. JR wants every member in the crowd to sponsor at least one person in the next three months. That’s it! See if you can do it. Challenge yourself!
Building the business is like building a building. You can’t put blocks that crumble just like you can’t put UFOs and customers who will fade out. Every block needs to support itself. You have to build the building and business from the bottom up. If you create a building without all of this, it will crumble.
The auction and MPCP scam is coming to an end. Scams are only happening because the products are so good. It wouldn’t happen if the products weren’t good. JR proclaimed that “We will catch you and you will be gone.” There is no need for this! Earn money the right way, which is the way that has worked for 26 years. You will earn more income if everyone of your customers has 10 – 20 customers of their own.
JR ended with this: “It’s the fairest and most genius plan ever created. Don’t mess with it. There is no beating the system.”
The crowd was electric when President of Urban & Latino Development Joseph “Fat Joe” Cartagena hit the stage. Fat Joe started off his speech by stressing that humans are only on this Earth temporarily. Fat Joe said, “You’re only on Earth a short amount of time. I hate people who live boring lives and settle. I’m living my best life now.”
Fat Joe proclaimed that this business is for everyone because we are a family. Fat Joe shared a story about the 9 to 5 lifestyle. There is no job security. If you’re not an entrepreneur who owns their own business, the joke is on you. It’s time to live your best life now. It’s always the ones next to you who wants to count you out. Make sure to bring the right people in the business. “If you don’t sell tickets and bring people here, your business won’t grow.”
The story of the invisible train was told by Joe. It’s a risky venture, but it comes in everybody’s life and you must jump on it towards success. People will count you out just like they did with Fat Joe. If you don’t believe, how will your team believe you? How can you lead by example? Don’t lie to yourself. “If I gave up, then I would not have been all the way up!”
Fat Joe shared the story of how DJ Khaled built his brand on SnapChat when it was his darkest moment. When you want to give up, don’t. Dream big and then dream bigger. You have to be dedicated and follow the system. “You are an average person who has the chance to make millions of dollars. You can have residual income that pays you for the rest of the life.” Joe made it a point of emphasis to have the youth take over. Find young members to help build your business.
