Recognizing Your Success – Andrew Weissman and Jim Winkler
Vice President Andrew Weissman and Vice President of Sales Jim Winkler recognized the following groups for their successful efforts in Market America: Field Vice Presidents and Executive Field Vice Presidents.
In a blaze of glory, JR Ridinger was back for part two of his presentation. Jr opened by saying, “We have created the most profitable, efficient, stable marketing plan for the average person, home-based business that’s ever been created.”
JR shared how Elizabeth Weber started out with JR and the story of how they built their UnFranchises by scratch. Working together, building camaraderie, and teamwork were essential to JR’s early success. If you make the two calls per week, the numbers are in your favor to find 8 Go Nows.
“It is within your reach and within your capability to make a million dollars. Where else can you find that,” said JR. JR preached that life starts at director. If you are not where you should be in the business, then you broke the “covenant that you signed when you started” aka the agreement you made with your sponsor. This is what the Getting Started Guide is all about. If you broke this deal, then it’s time to fix it.
JR can’t reiterated this enough. Start out with two evaluation approach calls per week. Use the evaluation approach. It doesn’t take eight hours a day. Put in a little time per day and results will follow if you follow the plan. It’s like the bean jar demonstration that JR has done in the past. Add hundreds of beans into the jar. If you shake it enough, you’ll get a nut aka a director in this business. Just keep shaking it/making your calls and your chances to find a nut/director will increase.
There is a myth that you only sponsor 2 UFOs to activate and your done so you stop prospecting and sponsoring. This is wrong and a misconception. After you have 2 activated UFOs, find 2 more and put them below the others. Work as a team and not only you will get paid, but your entire team! The MPCP is designed to sponsor more, which in turn will make you and your team more money.
How can everyone sponsor 8 in a year if activation only requires two qualified UFOs? It is a misconception. This can happen because the UnFranchise is a vertical marketing plan, not a horizontal plan. Once again, try trial size marketing and use the no decision close in your small meetings. JR said, “People always say I say the same things all the time? Why is that? Because it works. It’s imprinting. It’s duplication.”
If your new prospect chooses the 2-3 year plan at the beginning, they qualify to see the plan 2 more times and to do a trial run. The follow up is adjusted to their level of interest or readiness. Don’t get them to sign up until they have seen it 3 times and done a trial run.
JR stated that it’s important to speak about and understand the themes of Market America. Product brokerage, 2-3 year plan, converting spending into earning, assessment service, and the “Mall without Walls” are just a few of the themes that you can use to explain Market America.
At the end of a trial run, there is no decision to make at that point because it already worked. If it doesn’t work, then they don’t qualify. Don’t waste the time on people who don’t qualify. It’s fine. Let them go and find more people to qualify. JR said, “You must succeed so that other people can see and achieve their dreams.”
Most importantly, don’t forget to have fun! JR said, “it is the same belief, passion, and dream as it was 27 years ago. The time is now.” Go back and try to do this. Try to do something different because it can change for you.
