If you’ve never attended a regional event in your area, they are quite different than the major events such as MAIC. Regional conventions are powerful, extremely motivating, highly professional, and educational experiences. In the smaller setting, field leaders are able to plant seeds of BELIEF, KNOWLEDGE and especially ENTHUSIASM for the UnFranchise Business. The events are an ideal opportunity to set goals for area growth during the next year, and a definitive plan should be drawn for these goals to be achieved.
The entire weekend was full of powerful information from field leaders such as Jackie Blasko, Cullen Haskins, Chele Boe, Khe Zu, and more plus Vice President Jim Winkler, and President & COO of Market America Worldwide, Marc Ashley.
Marc Ashley explained that Shopping Annuity must become a daily habit. We must take the Shopping Annuity Assessment, in full, each and every quarter. It’s not a once and done. We must have our customers take the Shopping Annuity Assessment also.
On both Saturday and Sunday, Marc Ashley spoke a lot about products – current and future. He explained that as a product brokerage company, Market America’s mission has always been to deliver the best products on the market. We have the right products:
o What people want and need.
o In multi-billion dollar markets.
o From the best suppliers.
o At the best prices.
Julie Lanseidel gave great tips for marketing your business wherever you go! She explained trial size marketing, the benefits and how to make it work for you. She suggested to keep things simple with by keeping samples and flyers on hand but the key is to keep a tracking sheet and follow up. The tracking sheet will help you keep track of which products you gave to who so that you can follow up with a personal message to see how they liked the specific product rather than generic.
Jim Winkler encouraged everyone to get their 3 tickets to MAIC! As Jim said, “You can make excuses, and you can make money, but you can’t make both.” Between now and MAIC, it’s important to build in depth. The key is building correctly and not wasting time. You can do more in fewer hours if you focus on the correct actions and activities. Follow the system in order to imprint and duplicate correctly within your organization. Jim encouraged everyone to be the sponsor you wish you had!
