Our corporate team is excited to welcome you to Greensboro, NC next week to celebrate the Market America International Convention 2014. We know that you are arriving at the airport, off the highway, and maybe even from the train station, so we have a quick rundown of the best ways to travel to and from our event sites during your stay in Greensboro.
Arriving at Piedmont Triad International Airport
Our airport is small and not very difficult to navigate, so don’t stress if you’re flying in to town! To view the most updated maps of the terminal, click HERE.
Southern States Tours will once again be offering shuttles airport. Look for the Market America sign on an easel after picking up your luggage and someone with a Market America t-shirt on will direct you to your transportation. Airport shuttles will run every 30 minutes and drop off at the Sheraton Four Seasons (also known as the Koury Center) as well as other hotels in the area. Click HERE for more information.
If you are unable to join a shuttle, taxi cabs are available outside of baggage claim and you can expect about a 15-20 minute ride over to the host hotel.
Arriving at the Amtrak Station
If you’re riding a train into town, keep in mind that the station is roughly 5 miles away from the host hotel. Taxis are available and the station is open 24 hours with an enclosed waiting room.
Arriving via automobile
If you’re arriving on a coach bus to Greensboro, you likely will not have to worry about directions – your driver has that covered! If you are carpooling with friends, keep in mind that Interstate 40 is the major highway that will bring you straight to the host hotel and Koury Convention Center. Take exit 217 for all event-related destinations.
In-town travel
For transportation in Greensboro, we have tried to keep things simple for you. The Greensboro Coliseum is located 2.3 miles away from the Koury Convention Center, making it a quick commute between event locations. If you haven’t already arranged transportation for yourself or your team, we will be offering a daily shuttle service from the Coliseum to the Convention Center. Inquire at registration if you are interested in purchasing shuttle service.
