Welcome to Day 3 Morning Session of MAWC2020. Have you been inspired to grow with the UnFranchise? If you need inspiration, look no further than this morning’s presentation from Loren Ridinger! Here we go.
Shopping Annuity & UnFranchise
VP of Business Integration Chris Peddycord kicked off the day’s festivities with a presentation on UnFranchise. Chris preached about synergistic messaging on UnFranchise and it all starts with the home page. Between new products, upcoming campaigns, and blog calendars, the home page is your one-stop-shop for an overview of Market America.
Chris said, “The most important thing on the ordering page is the ability to order. It’s how you become a product of the product.” The learning center on UF is being developed to provide the “what, why, and when” of each educational topic. It’s like having a personal teacher at your fingertips.
UnFranchise.com is always changing for the better. Enhancements occur every week in order to make the site more convenient to use and easier to find products.
Executive Supervising Coordinator Chele Boe shared her beginnings in the UnFranchise business. Chele was first introduced to Isotonix products and loved the benefits it provided to her aches and pains. Chele credits Jim Winkler for her belief in the business. Chele said, “I have a maximum mindset. I will not live by fear. I will live by desire. This is my identity”
Director Olivia Li stated that she felt stuck after college. Even though she had a six figure job, she felt like she had no time, no financial future, and no excuses. Olivia said, “We need to breakdown in order to breakthrough.” Determine what matters in your life and go after it. Overcome yourself and give up your excuses. Olivia stressed that the first thing all UnFranchise Owners need to master is the plan. You need to know how to show the plan. Sell tickets = sell belief.
It was time to be inspired by our Senior Executive Vice President, Loren Ridinger. Although Loren was under the weather, she said the crowd’s energy will keep her going. Loren invited a UFO onstage to prove that it’s easy to walk onstage, but the the hard work happens behind the scenes. It’s called the process. Loren said, “It’s a new year. We have a new chance. Now’s the perfect time for you to shine. Give yourself a new beginning.”
According to Loren, the biggest mistake is believing we have the time. Loren believes the place we’re going has freedom. Loren said, “Tell people you love them. Look around and tell them you love them.” There’s only so much you can do to help people. People eventually need to help themselves. You need to outdo your past. While we’re living, do something with your life.
The fact that you’re here means you’re going to try. Loren explained how today’s about working on your weakness. Loren said, “If we’re not working on our weaknesses, we’re using them as crutches. We all have to work on our weaknesses every single day.” Loren shared a story about her weakness, which is flying. It became so bad that she instilled a fear of flying in Amber. However, after 20 years of not flying to a house, she decided to fly because it was necessary. Then, Loren reflected on the loss of Kobe Bryant and how our lives are an extraordinary opportunity. Never forget that. It’s being here now that’s important.
Sadly, Loren played a video of the late Jimmy V giving a speech at the ESPYs. Jimmy V died on April 28, 1993, and unfortunately, Loren’s mother, Tina, died the very next day. It was a day that changed her life. Loren said, “We’re all going to go through pain. We have to raise our children up and take away their fear. Let’s create the belief that our children can achieve anything they want.”
The first step to creating anything in your life is focus. Transformation won’t come this weekend, but it’s a good start. It comes from renovating your mind. Social media can get in the way because there’s an expectation of instant gratification. It should not dictate your life. There’s nothing easy about realizing you’re the one who has been holding yourself back. It’s ok. You can do this.
Loren said we may not be superheroes, but we have super powers. We’re human beings. Our gift is that we have air in our lungs. However, it’s important to not always put yourself last. Loren shared a story about joining the gym and how going to the gym is not enough. She needed to have a mindset of “No Days Off.” The same is true for our work and business. You must learn. You must practice. You cannot just join the company. You must show up.
Loren discussed how everyone needs some alone time to think and enjoy the little moments in life. It’s time to put 90% of your time in your major and 10% of your time in your minor. Those who only look in the present will miss their future. Only worry about what you’re going to do. Loren said, “The struggle you are in today is the developing strength you’re gonna need tomorrow.”
From there, Loren transitioned to the UnFranchise Business. Loren doesn’t want you to buy a ticket just to buy a ticket Buy a ticket because you believe in the business. It’s time to move into 2020 with 2020 vision. However, you must remove the toxic people out of your life. Check your circles. It’s okay to unfollow friends in real life. Loren said, “Everyone will tell you there’s a risk in this business, but an entrepreneur will see the reward.”
You need to get where you want to be. Set goals and keep going. Rules, regulations, and procedures have held us back our whole lives. Don’t do that to your children. Things take time. Have the mentality of a winner. Loren said, “Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest strength. We need to use our strengths to build on our weaknesses.” Admit your flaws. You need to expose your weakness in order to fix it. When someone is what they are, they don’t have to act like they ain’t. I am what I is.
Loren ended her speech by saying, “If you want to do what you finally want to do, just get up and do it. Stop being afraid of your weakness.”

Tom said, “Jerry was a leader and he led by example.” The winner of the 2020 Jerry Siciliano Award was Sharon Lawrence.
Supervising Coordinator Kevin Duong discussed how residual income and financial independence has changed his life. Kevin is 26 years old and has been a full time UFO since 2017. Kevin said the first thing you need to do is clear your why. “You need to embrace the problems. Problems will come, but when you own the problems, you can own the solution!”
When Kevin had to take some time away from the business to take care of his father, who eventually passed away, the residual income never stopped coming in. Kevin ended his speech by saying, “This event is more than tickets and products. It’s about being a hero in someone’s life. Be bold.”

Cullen shared how in tough times, your Market America family and residual income will take are of you. Cullen said, “We show up early and we stay late. Always be all in our your why!”
