I wanted to share something relevant to you both!
As you know, President’s Challenge recipients received an additional 10 tickets to move. I moved all of them…and used some of them to invite doctors who are ready for the experience.
Doctor #1 was dancing in the aisle by Saturday and agreed to do the President’s Challenge with me for August.
Doctor #2, at the end of JR’s close on Saturday, leaned over and said “we’re getting 10 tickets and will be there in Greensboro.”
They were ready for it.
The free ticket was what did it to get them there. What a great way to use tickets people haven’t moved in the future; just give them away. Docs see it as losing money to not work and costing money is even worse…so a freebie is a welcome deal sealer.
They loved the marketing topics, the social media education, and we stayed for the whole thing on Friday night AND attended breakouts each night. I explained to them that it was marketing education to support patient generation (to buffer them for non-medical content).
And BEST OF ALL… JR’s close on Saturday was earth-shattering. It blew the doors off everyone there. I don’t know how he could EVER top that. The spinning stage totally rocked it. Loved it!!! Oh my gosh!!! He totally destroyed my team. Just incredible.
Thank you guys for all the hard work.
Greatest moment for me was Amber Yang receiving Jerry Siciliano Award. Very moving. Another example of “your past does not equal your future.” Market America provides a vehicle and they hand you the keys, and anyone can drive it to the destination of their choice, regardless of background, circumstances, economic or language barriers. What a great moment, because you could feel the energy and the joy of her entire team, as well as that of every soul in the arena.
Second greatest moment was not really a moment. It was just seeing you and Loren and your team throughout the weekend. Having known you all for so many years, to see you up there on the stage on the “billion-dollar roll” you are on, and having experienced it and watched it play out over the years, was astonishing to me. You called it. You talked about it 17 years ago when I was first introduced to Market America.
Many times, those of us in the front rows would shake our heads listening to you talk about the future. It has always been a bit mentally taxing to try to stretch our thinking to keep up with you. And now, here you are on the precipice. Amazing.
And it was evident when observing you all throughout the weekend, that you are brandishing a new swagger. You have climbed one of the big mountains you set out to climb. And although there are more and bigger mountains to climb, there is no reason, looking at you guys, to believe there is anywhere to go but onward and upward into the sky.
Very cool feeling to World Conference all weekend.

Congratulations to you, the corporate team and the rest of the Market America family for this great and successful World Conference. We witnessed the company continue to grow bigger and bigger. With the acquisition of Shop.com, we are once again stepping toward our goal.
Sometimes I even thought to myself: How can I catch up with Market America since it’s been growing so rapidly over the past several years? The younger generation now has more and more opportunities to grow this business than ever before. Hopefully, senior UnFranchise® Owners like me can catch up with all these new changes. And with more and more support from the corporate team to our Chinese-speaking Shop Consultants, together we can make things happen!
Also, I thank you for giving me the second opportunity to present/teach the IBV party at World Conference. The IBV party is a great tool for UnFranchise Owners and it’s already showing results in parts of the country. After last year’s IBV training in San Francisco, a group of mine who previously started the IBV party now has grown and improved tremendously over the past few months. I hope more and more UnFranchise Owners will realize the benefits of an IBV party to grow their teams.
This year after World Conference, I brought over 420 UnFranchise Owners from across the globe to join me for a seven-day cruise (vacation plus training), of whom 52 of them are Professional Coordinator or above (that means 1 out of every 8 people there have created an ongoing income). A total of 17 hours of trainings were held on the cruise during the seven days. Everyone was happy, enjoying the cruise and at the same time learning everything from the Basic 5 to the future of the company.
More than half of these people are from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia. Most of them have language trouble and can’t absorb everything at these conventions, so setting up this cruise training will be a great opportunity for them to learn together.?I’ve started these types of training since 2002, and since then, every year I continue to do these cruise trainings for UnFranchise Owners giving them more opportunities to learn.
JR, I have a great story to tell you about one of my leaders who came to World Conference and has gone on the cruises with me for the past several years. She is one of my leaders in Taiwan who started this business five years ago. Back then, she would come to the conventions all the way from Taiwan all by herself. The second time, she brought one of her UnFranchise Owners with her, the third time she brought a total of 17 people, the fourth convention she brought 47 people, and this time she brought a total of 96 people — 60 of them have already committed to come to both big corporate events every year.
Now she’s a Director! These great UnFranchise Owners spent well over $4,000 USD to fly across half of the globe just to see their future, their success, and they told me that it’s worth every penny that they spent.
