Clienteling is an important part of every Market America Major. We want to encourage you to really get to know your customer on a personal level to grow that relationship and trust.
Getting To Know Your Customer
You have so many customers you work with, the first step to mastering clienteling is to record their information. This is so you can easily reference it again at a later date. There are a few ways you can do this. You can set up their customer profile in the back office which tracks their birthday and any of the online quizzes/profiles they’ve taken. You can access this area at unfranchise.com, my customers, manage customers.

Learning Their Favorites
Another alternative is having information sheets in your binder that you take with you to all of your appointments. Here you can write down their foundation shade, favorite lipstick color, products they are interested in trying in the future, and much more. All of this information can help you later when trying to follow up and schedule another visit.
Write down everything they purchased and the date at which it was purchased. This is an easy way to track when to follow up so they never run out of their favorite products.

Follow Up
We can not stress the importance of following up. Do it, do it, do it! You want to make things as simple as possible for your customers. Don’t wait for them to run out of something to contact you. Be proactive and reach out to them. Let them know about new products, and schedule a time to help them replenish on old favorites. You might be surprised how many customers want to continue to re-purchase great basics if you follow up with them.
