Signing up for the UnFranchise® Business may be easy, but expanding your business is where the challenge begins. The success of growing your business lies with your ability to find clients and then, sell products. This is called the art of prospecting.
Prospecting is the ability to generate business by finding new clients. Prospecting is an essential component in the Basic 5 because the ability to generate new clients will have a direct effect on your residual income.
Searching for new clients and teammates is a numbers game. The more people you reach out to, the chances for finding new prospects increase. One of the advantages of owning an UnFranchise is the capability to expand your business online. You don’t have to go door-to-door in order to find clients. Thanks to the Internet, access to most clients is just a click away.
How does one determine who to contact? This is where creating a possibility list, or a name list, is the way to go. JR Ridinger states that for every 100 names you call, the math shows that you’ll find at least 8 “Go Nows,” which are people that will consider and potentially buy products or join the business.
Start by writing down the names of as many prospects as you know. Can you name 100 people off the top of your head? If you can’t, don’t worry because we have a tip to find prospects. This involves using Facebook, which has 2.23 billion monthly active users, the most of any social media platform. Facebook is not just for sharing funny cat videos or wishing people happy birthday. Facebook can and should be used as a business building tool.
Start by logging onto Facebook and clicking on your friends list. This is the best place to start since you know these people the best. Go through your list and determine which friends would be interested in buying products and which would be interested in starting an UnFranchise. From there, narrow down your list even further to 10 people in each category. Use these 20 people as your starting point. Message them on Facebook and gauge their interest in the products and/or the business. After you’re done messaging those 20 people, continue to use Facebook to find more potential clients. Either find them on your friends list or try searching for terms like “Market America,” “Shopping Annuity,” or “UnFranchise Business” and see who is talking about these topics.
If used correctly, Facebook can be a game-changer for your UnFranchise. Try it out today!
