How long have you been in the business?
We have been in this business for three years and 10 months. We started on 10/12/18 and it has been a blessed journey so far!

Why did you start this business?
It was Jacqueline who first heard about this business when she went back to Malaysia. She was first attracted by the product (Digestive Enzyme) when meeting her mum’s friend (who is our sponsor) and then heard about the plan. After coming back to Brisbane, Jacqueline told Daniel about it. He was initially against the business. After some prayers, Daniel allowed Jacqueline to start this. Eventually, Daniel became active in this after a week or two of observing what Jacqueline was doing. We are both very seriously managing this business now.
We started this business so that we can spend more time with our parents and future kids and be more financially secure. We have always wondered what would happen if something happened to us and we were no longer able to work. Where would the money come from? At the same time, no work means no income. We need to build this before we need it! We want to be able to help more people and it’s a joy being able to help people through this business — health, beauty, lifestyle and so much more!

Outside of being a Distributor, what is your occupation? If you are a full-time Distributor, when did you make the transition from the 9-5 to being a full-time entrepreneur?
Jacqueline is a young housewife without a kid yet. Daniel currently works full-time as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and has been doing this for the past eight years. They have three dogs as fur kids.

Tell us about your family.
We are still a small family of two. We have been in Australia for more than 10 years after coming over for university.

What do you and your family like to do for fun/recreation?
We both enjoy listening to music and watching movies and Korean variety shows, although this entertainment has been lesser and lesser. We currently have three fur kids, our female Labrador called Bubbles, male Shiba Inu called Miso and female Shiba Inu called Tofu. We enjoy observing and training them with different skills.

Tell us about your lifestyle.
Our weekends are spent at church. Monday to Friday – Daniel works full time during the day while Jacqueline works from home. We both continue to manage this business until late at night like 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. (after Daniel comes home from full-time work). Some sacrifices had to be made to manage this business, especially leisure and sleep time. Do we want to spend 45 years of our life working for someone else’s success or two to three years for our own?

What are some of your personal goals?
To be able to witness and accompany our future kids growing up, and to bring parents to travel.

What are some of your business goals?
Becoming a Supervisor Coordinator within a year. Helping more partners to earn commission and achieve MUFO!

Have you been a challenge winner? Or recognized at any local, regional, or national events?
Not yet at this point. There used to be no GMTSS where we are, but that would not stop us from achieving different challenges. Time flies and we are now Category 1 Bureau Speakers of Market Australia. We also recently became UBP Coordinator for Brisbane, QLD. We worked hard and achieved CSIE and MUFO multiple times. Keep going!

What is your best moment, so far, with Market Australia and the business?
Seeing our partners grow and earn commissions! Being able to be speakers of the company and share what we know — feedback received from attendees was that they were very grateful and said they were inspired and fired up after these!

How has the GMTSS helped build your business?
We like how GMTSS exist in all the markets of our Asia-Pacific region. We have partners based in Malaysia and Singapore and they can attend trainings like NUOT, B5, ECCT, etc. (exactly what we have here in Market Australia too). Time leverage and everyone receiving the same training! It’s even better now with everything online but it’s still different from meeting face-to-face. Without GMTSS, our team would not have been able to grow as quickly. A lot of times, it’s hard for partners to listen repeatedly to the same leader in the team. However, with GMTSS, partners will feel fresh and be able to leverage the amazing power of GMTSS! Keep the fire burning! Thanks, GMTSS! The recent Market Malaysia Leadership School was awesome!

What’s your favourite Market Australia product and why?
This is a tough question. Can we say belief is the greatest product we have? We love all of the BV products! We try as many new products as we can all the time, converting spending to earning! If we have to choose one, it’s digestive enzymes. It is the one that started us in this business.
