We would like to congratulate the following individual who recently reached a new UnFranchise Level.
Jesline Koay Yee Nee, Executive Coordinator
How long have you been in the business?
I have been in the business for a year now.
Why did you start this business?
I am a Malaysian, studied in Singapore for 2 years and went to Australia for a degree in Event Management. I was supporting myself for the past 3 years while studying full time in Sydney. In my second year of studies, I was introduced by my sponsors, Vernon Yeo and Evita Cheng, a lovely couple to this business. I was a looking for an opportunity then as it was not easy studying full time, having a part-time internship and working casually to support myself financially. I did not want to trade my health and time for money for the rest of my life. That is when I realised that this business is a great platform for me to leverage on.
Outside of being a Distributor, what is your occupation? If you are a full-time Distributor, when did you make the transition from the 9-5 to being a full-time entrepreneur?
I was a student when I started this business a year ago. I have just graduated and relocated back to Malaysia, my hometown to expand my network in Market Malaysia. I am doing this business part-time and working with my mum in her traditional beauty business full time. We are integrating the shop.com platform into our family beauty business.
Tell us about your family.
I thank God for a beautiful family of 4. Since young, my parents have been working overseas to support my younger brother and me financially. This moulds me to be independent since little as I need to manage my studies, daily routine, and life by myself. One day in the near future, I want to be able to spend time with my parents more without them going away to work and support me financially. I shared with them this ‘BIG WHY’ and my parents are very supportive of my business after attending the launch of Market Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur last year. With this business, I am able to relocate back to Malaysia, spending more time with grandparents while growing my business and team.
What do you and your family like to do for fun/recreation?
My family and I just love doing something together and it could be as simple as going for a swim, watching the latest movie in the cinema and dining out. Spending time together is a luxury as we are all living in different places since young. My dad is currently in China, mum is traveling within Malaysia, I am based in Penang and my brother is in Singapore. But of course, if I am to name one, it would be traveling! We love going on holidays and we do so once a year, fitting in everyone’s busy schedule.
Tell us about your lifestyle.
I am a Christian, a Seventh-day Adventist in specific. Besides helping my mum in her business and working on my shop.com business, I spend most of my time serving in the church. I love helping people especially kids in need. I do organise a mission trip to places where help for kids is needed be it in education, health or even spiritual needs. This fulfills my passion and mission in helping people and my love for traveling.
What are some of your personal goals?
I want to be able to support my family financially. This means a lot to me because I will be able to spend quality time with parents, brother, and grandparents without worrying about financial needs. This is something I miss out since little. I want to be able to spend time with my children in the future so that they feel my presence throughout their growth journey. Besides providing for my family, I want to extend my hands to those in needs. Sponsoring needy students in education, traveling to motivate them, organising camps to uplift children spiritually are my goals in 10 years’ time. With God’s grace, I want to be a role model for the young people, leading the example of having a complete wealth- physically, mentally, spiritually and financially.
What are some of your business goals?
One of the reasons that I relocated back to Malaysia is to bless the people in my hometown with this great platform, be it my family, friends or relatives. I want to work closely with my team and help as many business partners to be Executive Coordinators by 2020. For myself, I want to go for Master UFO challenge at least twice by 2020. Besides that, I want to be Senior Master Coordinator by 2020, earning a continuous residual income weekly.
If you could give three key points to help share the business and what it’s done for you, what would they be?
- Be genuine when you share about this business. This business platform is amazing and we are blessing people with a possible financial freedom. It is too good not to be shared.
- We are already in this business as we do spend on things daily. Why don’t we leverage on an existing proven business system that works and divert our spendings to earnings?
- We need to commit time, effort and money in everything we do. This business is another commitment, worthy of your time. Imagine yourself in 2 years’, 5 years’ and 10 years’ time. You won’t give up if you see the vision and have the belief. A 2 years’ business commitment for a lifetime of convenience? I AM IN!
Have you been a challenge winner? Or recognized at any local, regional, or national events?
I have not but I am working towards it.
What is your best moment, so far, with Market Australia and the business?
I enjoy every coring with my team, be it an online or physical meeting. It is always refreshing, energizing and empowering. I learn new things from business partners of different life stages and professions each time. It is like a never-ending learning journey for me.
How has the GMTSS helped build your business?
I can attend training whenever I am. I was back in Malaysia and Singapore for holidays when I was studying in Sydney. I plugged into the local events like UBP and Basic 5, learning from different speakers. I can now present confidently with my own perspective and style, integrating what I have heard and learned from speakers with different background and life experience. I encouraged my team to attend GMTSS in Malaysia when I was still in Australia. So it is definitely a great way to build and grow my business from near and far.
What’s your favorite Market Australia product and why?
Totally in love with our TLS 21 Days Challenge Kit. I am doing the 3 months’ TLS Challenge to lose body fat. By the end of third week, I have lost 9cm for my waist and 2kg body weight. It is a great turn out. I was genuinely excited and shared this outcome on Facebook. This post received over 200 likes. After following up with those who commented on my post, I have 4 leads, 2 from Penang and 2 from Singapore doing the 21 Days Challenge. I am looking forward to Market Malaysia’s launch of TLS kit so that I can go for TLS coach. I am very thrilled to be able to help family and friends to achieve their fitness and health goals. I always believe that health is part of complete WEALTH.
Is there anyone you would like to thank for contributing to your success?
First and foremost, I would like to thank Vernon and Evita for introducing me to this business. They have set a great example for me, not only in the business but in church and in life as a whole. Their generosity, love, constant support and care have inspired me in many ways. I would like to specifically give credits to Doreen and James Ling. They have shown great leadership in many ways. They spend quality time with business partners who are willing to learn from them. They are ever-encouraging and motivating, guiding me on the path to success and correcting me genuinely when I need to leverage the system more. Next, I would like to thank Angela Lo, she is my TLS coach, sister in Christ, a co-worker in church and motivator. Her perseverance and discipline in her fitness goals have amazed me. Besides that, I would like to thank Anne Loke for her encouragement and belief in me. She encourages her teams to work together and leverage on each other’s strengths. Special mention to the leaders on my team, Halene and Stella Hong who work tirelessly to help the team to grow in Malaysia. Most importantly, I would like to thank my family, friends and my lovely life partner who is a Pastor for their never-failing support and motivation to keep moving forward. The list of people that I want to thank goes on and on. I have met business leaders who are not on my team but are willing to coach me and give me great advice along the way. I am grateful for these God-sent angels. It shows that our business is selfless and collaborative instead of being in competition. Last but not least, I want to give full credits to God. I would not have gone so far in life and in this business without His grace, wisdom, and blessings. All glory to God in the highest.
