What’s the difference between shopping with SHOP.COM Direct Electronics Outlet and shopping from a partner store like Best Buy?

The first main difference is that you will earn 5% Cashback and 7% IBV on every purchase. Best Buy only offers 1% IBV. You also do not have to leave the SHOP.COM site to complete your purchase, therefore you earn your rewards almost instantly, AND you can use any Cashback already in your account at checkout!

What is the return policy for products purchased through the SHOP.COM Direct Electronics Outlet?

All returns must be 100% intact, in the original carton/tote or packaging with the Serial Number clearly visible. Any components, manuals, registration card(s), software, cables and/or accessories that come with the package must also be included. Unfortunately, if merchandise returned to our warehouse is in a non-restockable condition, we will be unable to issue a full credit (please see Restocking Fee information below). Please be advised that if your order is over $25 and requires us to reship from an original damaged, defective, shorted, or mis-shipped order, you will be temporarily charged for that item(s) and you will be credited when the original item(s) or claim is closed.

For an exchange or refund all products must be returned within 90 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by our electronics provider, and not the mere issuance of an RMA. Shipping and handling is not refundable.

What exactly does ‘refurbished’ mean?

Refurbished/recertified products are items that have been returned to an authorized factory repair center for testing, inspection and repair, or have been repaired by certified technicians. Please understand that some reconditioned items may have marks, scratches or other signs of wear. Most factory-serviced products carry 90-day warranties with the listed return policy.

Are recertified items as good as new?

Yes, absolutely! Recertified products are often better than new, because they undergo more rigorous inspection and testing than new products. The defect rate of recertified items is far lower than that of items sold as new. Sometimes items sold as recertified are, in fact, “new” items that have simply been repackaged due to damage to the box or casing during shipping. The item may never have even made it to a store shelf.
