So, what does this all mean?

Almost 50% (47% to be exact) of consumers say that the internet is their favorite shopping destination (which, if you’re an UnFranchise Owner who has their own SHOP.COM site, isn’t news to you!).

The average shopper will do about 45% of their holiday shopping online – ca-ching!

75% of shoppers will search online to inspire holiday wish lists (helloooo MyLists!).

2 in 5 consumers will spend time researching online in order to find a good deal. Man, if everyone just knew about ShopBuddy, they could seriously cut down on their time spent doing this!

In the last 12 months, 30% of consumers have made a purchase based on their engagement with a social network. Meaning: pinning a product on Pinterest, seeing a friend post about it on Facebook, etc.

56% of consumers say that a daily deal *cough* like SHOP.COM’s 25 days of deals *cough* would influence them to complete a purchase on a social networking site this holiday season.

25% of shoppers say easy-to-use mobile websites (woah, like SHOP.COM’s mobile site? Heck yes!) is an important factor in their decision to shop with a specific retailer (like on your SHOP.COM portal!).

…and for the 8th year in a row, gift cards are the most requested gift item among those celebrating the holidays. Lucky for you, SHOP.COM gift cards are the perfect gift, AND they help you build your business!
