That’s where having a great support system and the team come in. The lessons we learn at International Convention can be powerful and inspire positive change, but only if we take those lessons to heart and truly apply what we learn to our business and daily lives. At MAIC 2018, work with your team to set business goals and hold each other accountable in the months following the event. Don’t lose momentum and let the 4 impactful days filled with business building and knowledge go to waste after you return to your everyday life. Goal: Take your business to the next level
Plan of Action: Set concrete goals that align with your WHY
Is your head in the right place? Is your heart? Your driving force for your business is your WHY. If you haven’t done so already, determine your WHY and share it with your team. Again, accountability is key! As a team, lift each other up, encourage one another, and hold each other accountable to reach your goals. Keep your goals concrete rather than lofty. Instead of saying “I want to quit my full-time job” say, “I will be a member of the Million Dollar Club by X date.” With your WHY in the forefront of your mind and business, your team will become an unstoppable force. Work together as a team to create an action plan for before, during, and after the event to use the momentum gained at MAIC 2018 to take your business to the next level.
Goal: To expand your knowledge
Plan of action: Attend breakout sessions after the main event.
There is so much to this business beyond selling products and introducing friends and family to SHOP.COM. Attend sessions to expand your knowledge in other areas of the business such as WebCenters, Deductr, and Affiliate Publisher Network. Learn how you can utilize these divisions in your UnFranchise Business. Following the main stage presentations, there are multiple breakout sessions each evening to take advantage of. Since there are multiple breakout sessions offered each night, plan ahead with your team and share what you learned. Decide as a team who will attend which sessions to ensure each session has coverage for additional learning opportunities. Take plenty of detailed notes and make copies to share with your team.
Goal: Expand your business knowledge and professional network.
Plan of action: Attend X number of events per quarter.
Attending major events like International Convention and World Conference is vital to your success. Before you leave the International Convention, challenge everyone on your team to purchase at least 3 tickets to World Conference 2019. Why do we suggest at least 3 tickets? 1 for yourself and 2 to sell to a future business partner. Having invested your own money into those 2 additional tickets gives you an added incentive to find at least 2 new business partners before the next major event. Don’t forget about your local GMTSS events as well! Have you checked to see who’s speaking at a local seminar over the next few months? When was the last time you attended a regular UnFranchise® Business Presentation? Contact your local GMTSS coordinator and they will be able to give you the information you need. Create a schedule of the events you will attend before the end of the quarter, and stick to it! Don’t forget about Regionals, Product Symposium, and Moving Up Seminars as well!
