The majority of our UnFranchise owners build our business on a part-time basis in 8 to 15 hours per week. The keywords in the previous sentence were “Part-Time” not “Spare Time”. There is a big difference between the two phrases. Part-time means that it is scheduled into your calendar and you are committed to certain hours or nights each week to build your business. If someone is building the business spare time it means that they do it whenever it is convenient or fits in their schedule. Once you determine that we will build the business part-time and schedule your hours each week the business becomes easier.
What do we do in our 8 – 15 hours per week? We keep it simple. We make phone calls and texts to set up appointments about the business and the products. We have meetings to share our products with potential customers and our business with potential business partners. We attend and we promote events so that we can get the information to be successful. Initially, we will spend time getting trained and learning from our senior partners and learning about the UnFranchise system. Later on, we will be coaching our new teammates and repeating the process that we just went through.
The interesting thing about our business is that the activities that are simple, make us the most money. Setting appointments and meeting a prospect (typically with you senior partner when you are new) and asking them to evaluate your business to see if they know people that they think would be a good fit. Listening to someone who complains about a physical issue and offering them information about our products to see if it can help with the challenges they are facing. Doing a call/text workshop with a business partner and setting more appointments in an hour than you may set by yourself in a week.
Here is the bottom line. If you look at your appointment book and it is blank, you have no appointments set to show the business plan or talk to potential customers about our products then it is going to be a bad week. If you look at your appointment book on Sunday night and in the limited hours that you have available, you have each available hour booked with a result producing activity (making calls, showing the business plan, attending and promoting events) you are going to have a great week.
It is the small daily tasks that we do each day that make agreat week. It is the consistent weeklysteps that we do that make a great month. It is continuing to do this and teaching your team how to do the samethat leads to a great career. We lookforward to you keeping it simple, having fun and growing to new UnFranchiselevels this next year. The best part ofit is you will be able to take a whole lot of your teammates with you as grow.
Enjoy the journey and keep growing!
