As we begin a new year, everyone starts focusing on their goals and new resolutions. Alongside goal setting comes action planning. However, there is a major component to success besides setting a goal and an action plan to achieve it, ACCOUNTABILITY!
Being held accountable to your action plan is critical to success and achieving your goals. The only thing standing between you and accomplishing your goal is the right attitude & knowledge, developing and improving your skills, and the necessary activity to warrant results. What you lack in skill, you can make up for with activity. Activity provides an experiential learning that is far superior to training and education. It is called development. There is no shortage of information, tools, resources to increase your knowledge and attitude surrounding your WebCenter business. Therefore, the number one factor in your success is ACTIVITY!
Activity leads to results. Activity leads to professional development, as well as improved coaching. However, being held accountable for your activity is a key ingredient to success. What’s easy to do is also easy not to do. Imperfect action will always be better than perfect inaction.
This year in 2020, WebCenters will be releasing a new accountability and coaching program to improve field development and WebCenter Owner Success. We will have a monthly accountability group starting for WebCenter Owners to work together towards success. You will hear more at the upcoming MA World Conference, being held in Miami, FL, February 6-9, 2020, so you don’t want to miss it! We will also be announcing these details with incentives for participation, as well as prizes and awards for your success! The WebCenter Owner Support Group on Facebook is a great way to stay engaged in the WebCenter Division, as well as to hear of the updates as they are released.
For now, you must set your goals and steer yourself towards success by doing the right things.
- What do you want?
- Why do you want it?
- When do you want it?
- What are you willing to do or overcome to get it?
- What are your rewards and/or consequences?
- What will you do when you achieve your goal and how will it make you feel?
Work on your goals statement and then using the WebCenter System of goal setting and action planning. You can determine what you need to do each month, week and day to work towards your goals. There is no elevator to success, you must take the stairs and you must touch every step. By taking these small steps each and every day, you can’t help but succeed!
