It’s been a great year for WebCenters! We spent the year investing in WebCenter Owner training, client education, sales & marketing support and making it easier to become a WebCenter Owner. From lowering WebCenter set-up pricing and including more products in the WebCenter Fast Start Kit, to working with other divisions to include WebCenters in their business-to-business (B2B) appointments, the division is growing. 2020 is lining up to be a banner year based on what we were able to put in place in 2019.
Let’s review some of the exciting happenings…
While MorseConnect had a soft launch in 2018, it became a robust product in 2019. Text Message or SMS marketing continues to grow in the market, and through WebCenters, we can offer businesses a way to text using their existing landline, create text promotional campaigns and even autorespond to keyword based messages to improve client engagement!
The number 1 question we are asked the WebCenter booth at every event is, “What is a WebCenter?” So, we created a 2-page flyer that answers this question, which assists UFOs in expanding their organization into this division, but it is also a great recruiting and follow-up tool for prospects that have an interest. This document can be found in unfranchise.com Support Materials, as well as in the UnFranchise Prospecting App.
The second most popular question is, “Why maWebCenters?” So, again, we created a 2-page handout that showcases the depth and breadth of product offerings available. It is also available in Support Materials and the UFP App.
UFOs and WCOs alike are always wondering how to find the associated costs and BV for WebCenter products. The new Price List was not only created to answer these questions, but it also includes a brief description of each product and what is included. It pairs well with the B2B Services Catalog. We also took the price list “offline,” meaning that your candidates and prospects cannot locate our pricing on www.mawc411.com nor through the Design Center through mawebcenters.com. Offering more security allows WCOs to have more confidence in their pricing strategy with their candidates.
In many cases WebCenter candidates are in a research phase, making it difficult to schedule sales appointments with our Product Specialists. At the same time, many WCOs lacked the digital marketing education to promote value in a consultation appointment. The B2B Presentation PowerPoint was created as a way for WCOs to have a valuable conversation with a business owner about digital marketing, its importance, what’s involved, and why they should consider maWebCenters. This presentation is available for download in Support Materials as well.
We offer more than just a service, we offer clients the education and training necessary to scale their business using digital marketing. Our Client Education series, loaded on YouTube is a great support tool that adds trust, credibility, and further enhances the value of using maWebCenters.
While mane WCOs and clients only see the front-end of the WebCenter and website editor, there is a great deal of effort that goes into maintaining, updating, upgrading systems on the back-end. Also, WebCenters has to comply with all international regulations, and this year was a big year. GDPR really created a development challenge late in 2018 and was completed to comply with the various aspects of GDPR, and no WCOs or clients faced any issues or challenges, as we were able to seamlessly integrate the necessary steps to be within compliance.
Also, in Taiwan there have been taxation concerns mandated by the Minister of Finance for any non-Taiwan based company doing business in Taiwan. With VAT and eGUI regulatory concerns facing all businesses, our partner iVenue was ahead of the curve working directly with the necessary agencies to e sure that WebCenter Owners and clients were not affected and had tools to remain compliant moving forward.
With these major developments behind us, 2020 will bring some more attention to updating and increasing out technological enhancements!
The online help manual through WebCenters needed an overhaul, and we got it! The new and improved online help manual offer clear, easy to understand instructions on using the robust WebCenter 4.0 platform. From the WebCenter Dashboard link to help or within the website editor, it’s easy to access. You can also go there directly here: www.iv-help.com
This year, we conducted the most comprehensive training in WebCenter history through the Level Up Challenge. While it was part of a WebCenter sales contest, participants had access to 26 weeks of step-by-step training and accountability held by the Certified WebCenter Trainers and the Director of WebCenters, Jason Pelland. Fortunately for the field, this entire training series was recorded and archived on our YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/officialmawc
Having trained WebCenter Owners is important, but we also launched the WebCenter Pro Education Series as well in 2019. WebCenter Pro accounts are industry professionals or proven successful WebCenter Owners. From VIP Tech Support and a customizable WebCenter to ongoing education, the WebCenter Pro program continues to grow. This year Special Projects Coordinator, Phil Deriggi was able to train on the website editor in-depth as well as conduct a training on using the eCommerce tools and system within the website dashboard.
Of course, each year we conduct our Certified WebCenter Training School, which helped us bring on some new trainers in the field who not only have proven themselves as successful WebCenter Owners, but they have also been doing an incredible job training in the field. The WCT101 and WCT201 were revamped to make it easier to sell WebSolutions, as well as how to integrate WebCenters into your UnFranchise business. The All-Star WCT101 took place at the Market America International Convention and was the release of the updated training.
Certified WebCenter Trainer of the Year
There wasn’t a question when it came to the top trainer in 2019. Chwen Lim has been an integral part of the WebCenter division, and her commitment and dedication to helping others shines bright. She trained in all of our major markets and online last year, and her support was unparalleled. We appreciate your energy and effort, Chwen!
While we had our first price increase for clients in 2018, we saw a price decrease in 2019 for the WebCenter set-up costs! The New WebCenter Set-up pricing was reduced from $350.00 to only $100.00 as a way to have more UnFranchise Owners leverage the division. As we see more and more crossover between nutraMetrix, Motives, TLS, and ShopFinancial into the B2B Services division, we wanted to be sure that all UFOs had the ability to access a WebCenter. With this new pricing structure, we were also able to include physical MA branded products in the WebCenter Fast Start Kit, making it more enticing to launch a WebCenter business through the Fast Start Kit programs.
So as you can see, 2019 was a busy year and we are excited to close out this decade and bring in 2020 with a strategic plan that we can’t wait to announce to you. As always, if you have any questions or comments, please email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
