It’s one thing to set a goal and run after it like your hair is on fire, but the thing is, the faster you start, the faster you will run out of gas. Consistency over Intensity! So, today is a reminder that if you want to achieve a goal you need to take a ton of bite-sized bites out of it, instead of trying to gobble down all of it. Your success in this business comes down to your Daily Method of Operation…the operation procedure for your business.You have to start with the basics. Fortunately, Market America systemized and standardized this with the Basic 5.
1. ATTITUDE & KNOWLEDGE
-are you listening to an audio every day?
-are you reading 10-15 minutes per day?
-are you surrounding yourself with positive, successful people every day?
-are you in touch with your mentor and team daily?
-are you plugged into the weekly, monthly, quarterly GMTSS meetings?
2. GOALS & GOAL STATEMENT
-did you do your 4 Ws exercise?
-do you have a WRITTEN goal statement on you each day?
-do you have an associated action plan to achieve the goal?
-are you reading your goals OUTLOUD 2x every day?
-are you visualizing accomplishing your goal every day?
-are you reaching out to 1 person per day regarding a product?
-are you CORRECTLY implementing and conducting Trial Size Marketing?
-are you learning about 1 new product per day?
-are you shopping from yourself every day?
-do you have a retail/product event scheduled to attend/conduct?
4. EXPANDING DISTRIBUTION
-are you reaching out to 2 new people per day to start conversations or rekindle old relationships?
-are you following through on conversations daily using F.O.R.M.?
-are you reaching out to 2 possibilities every day to evaluate the business?
-do you have a plan showing scheduled weekly in your calendar that you will attend/conduct?
-are you communicating with your mentor daily to work your business?
5. FOLLOW UP & FOLLOW THROUGH
-are you measuring daily, weekly tasks and reporting the results?
-are you following up with customers, prospects, or team members every day?
-are you moving EVERY meeting forward with a clearly stated and scheduled next step?
Take the time to start introducing these things. Analyze your starting point by taking the Online Basic 5 Diagnostic Test. Do things in order to make sure that you won’t be tempted to go back to your old habits. Those could include several reminders of why you wanted your goal in the first place.
