Get the Look: Motives Mavens Sculpt Series Palettes

We are still starstruck about our new Motives Mavens Sculpt Series palettes that we launched during Market America World Conference 2014 in collaboration with Motives Mavens Vegas Nay, Maryam Maquillage, Teni Panosian, Ely Marino, Ellarie and Makeup By Denise! Motives Mavens Sculpt Series are essential contour palettes for creating flawless looks. Each palette includes four shades of crème foundation in warm and cool tones for contouring and highlighting. Read on to see six looks and tutorials for different skin tones using these palettes!

Get the look: @vegas_nay

  1. Moisturize face and apply foundation to even out skin tone.
  2. Apply “Ignite” to area under eye, bridge of nose, between brows, and on center of chin.
  3. Apply “Dusk” to the sides of forehead, along the sides of nose, and the area below the cheekbone, jawline and sides of chin.
  4. Blend the highlighted areas and contoured areas together using a circular motion. To finish the look, set the highlighted area with your favorite Motives translucent powder and add your favorite Motives blush, lip gloss and mascara.

Get the look: @makeupbydenise

  1. Apply Motives foundation all over face in your perfect shade.
  2. Highlight face by applying “Ignite” from the Fire Sculpt Palette under the eyes, cheekbones, chin, above the top lip (in center), jawline, bridge of nose and fanned out on forehead.
  3. Contour face by applying “Blaze” along the sides of the nose, under the cheekbones, and along the hairline.
  4. Blend the highlighted and contoured areas until they blend seamlessly into one another. Set the look by applying your favorite Motives translucent powder all over the face. Finish the look by applying your favorite Motives blush, lip gloss and mascara.

Get the look: @elymarino

  1. Prime skin with Motives Perfecting Face Primer
  2. To highlight, apply “Ignite” down the center of the nose, forehead, top of the cheek bones and slightly above the jawline.
  3. To contour, apply “Blaze” to temples, hair line, down the sides of the nose, hallows of cheeks and jawline.
  4. Blend highlighted area followed by contour. Finish the look by applying Motives Pressed Blush in “Pretty in Pink,” Motives Mineral Lip Shine in “Rose” and your favorite Motives mascara!

Get the look: @ellarie

  1. Start with a clean face and apply Motives Perfecting Face Primer all over.
  2. Apply foundation (Ellarie is wearing “Blaze” all over her face.”) To contour, outline the forehead, sides of nose, down through hollows of cheeks and around the jawline (Ellarie used “Heat” as her contour shade).
  3. To highlight, use lighter shade down center of nose, under eyes, above top lip in center, chin and below cheek contour (Ellarie used “Blaze” and “Halo” mixed together).
  4. To finalize the look, set face with your favorite Motives translucent powder and your favorite Motives blush, lipstick and mascara.

Get the look: @maryamnyc

  1. Apply foundation to even out skin tone.
  2. Apply “Blaze” to the sides of the forehead, along the sides of nose and the triangular area below the cheekbone, jawline and chin.
  3. Apply “Ignite” to the triangular area under the eye, along the side of the nose, and on top of the cheekbones. Add a thin line of highlight down the nose bridge, between the brows and on the center of the chin.
  4. Using Motives Jumbo Sponge Brush, blend the highlight product by gently buffing it into the foundation base. Next, blend out the contour shade using small circular motions and patting strokes. Once everything is blended, set the look with your favorite Motives translucent or pressed powder.
