Unwind After MAWC 2022

What a great convention! We were so happy to see you, whether in person or online. You have accomplished so much and we hope this convention was an extra push towards success. After hours of catching up with us, the World Convention is over and it is time to unwind. Here are five ways to unwind.

5 Ways to Unwind

Step away from your Screen. We spent hours learning about new innovations and watching our amazing lineup of speakers online. Take a break from your phones, computers, and tablets. Read a book, stretch, or get active. Do things that will help you relax your mind and body. 

Do your self-care regimen. Having a self-care regimen can help relax your mind, body, and soul. Do your skincare and body care with patience and love. Light your favorite candle and play soothing music. Moisturize your body from head to toe and drink your favorite Isotonix elixir. Tell yourself how proud you are for getting to where you are today. Self-love is self-care. 

Write a list. Get everything you need to do out of your mind and on paper. This will help keep your thoughts organized and help you sleep better at night. Use this as a daily practice before bed. Have a list for work, social, and personal. The personal list is the most important one because without you feeling one hundred percent, the other lists won’t be able to be checked off. 

Take deep breaths. Our breath is an essential tool to relax our hormonal responses, tension, and our mind. Take deep breaths through your nose, filling your chest to its fullest capacity. Then exhale through your mouth. Feel your whole body relax. Do this as many times as you need, whenever and wherever. 

Go outdoors. We spent a weekend indoors getting motivated about our futures. It’s time to get some fresh air and sunlight. Connecting with nature has many health benefits. It is the perfect way to relieve stress. Take a walk at a park or around your neighborhood. If you’re near the beach, take a stroll on the sand. Be present!
