We’ve shown you how to shop with the SHOP.COM Trend Shop, but have you ever made your own Trend? It’s a simple (and fun!) process that is great for getting organized and building your business at the same time. We’re sharing the simple steps to build your own Trend:
Step 1: Start a new Trend
From the SHOP.COM home page, click “Trends” to the right (circled above). This will take you to the Trend Shop page. Or, click here! See the orange “Create your Trend” button? Click it!
Step 2: Name your Trend
A new screen will pop up. This is where you will build your trend! Naming it is required (circled above), but it’s also a good idea to provide tags &/or a description for your Trend. Once you’ve decided on a name, it’s time to start adding items. You can change this information at any time while you’re working.
Step 3: Select products to add
Click the “search” tab and begin looking for products to add (circled above). We searched “pink rain jacket” and found lots of results. Once you’ve found an item you like- click it- it will instantly appear to the right on what will become your final Trend to share. Don’t worry if you make a mistake. You can always delete items if necessary.
Repeat this step as many times as necessary until you have the right number of items on your Trend.
Step 4: Finalize your Trend
Once you’ve added items to your Trend, it’s time to review it and make any changes before you’re ready to publish. You can see that we’ve added a name and a description. From this point you may either preview your trend (circled above) or save your trend (circled above). Saving a trend will publish it to the public.
Step 5: View & share your Trend
Once saved, your Trend will appear in the Trend Shop alongside other user-created trends! Share it with your customers for seasonal, special occasion, or gift giving ideas.
