This week, I wanted to address an issue that has been coming up a good bit. A reader asked, I created a Facebook fanpage and need to change the title, what do I do?
Answer:
In short, once you have created a Facebook fanpage, you cannot edit the name of the fanpage.
While Facebook fanpages are a great way to help build and promote your business, before you begin, please read the following guidelines to help make sure that you stay compliant!
Facebook fanpage tips:
- Fanpage titles cannot be edited once you have created the page. To change the title, you will need to start a new one.
- Using any copyrighted or trademarked images/logos as profile pictures/avatars is prohibited.
- Example, you must state (Unofficial) or (Independent Distributor) in the title of your facebook fanpage denoting this is not an official page.
Note: If you’ve already created a fanpage and do not meet these requirements, please be sure to add Independent Distributor or Unofficial to the right sidebar below your fanpage profile picture.
