The ma Blog Team LOVES to share our favorite tips and tricks for building your business – especially when it comes to social media. So, every Monday, we share some of the latest tips, and the answers to our most frequently asked questions. Today we’re sharing how searching on Twitter can help you join in trending conversations.
Twitter is a great social media tool. It’s a fast-paced way to get the word out about everything from your favorite things to your latest thoughts. It’s loved by everyone from celebrities and business owners to government officials and college students. However, its popularity makes it easy to get lost in the wealth of conversation going on.
So how do you get your tweets noticed to attract new followers and share your business and products? Twitter makes it simple. There are two ways to discover the latest buzz on Twitter.
From your Twitter Homepage, you can select the “Discover” tab. On this page, you can see a list of the latest trending topics. You can click on any topic to bring up the latest tweets. Just add the phrase or hashtag to your tweet, and everything you tweet will end up in the search results other people see! You’ve just joined a hot conversation.
Another way to find conversations is to enter what you’re looking for into the provided search bar at the top of your Twitter page. Whether it’s a phrase, person’s name, or a hashtag, Twitter’s search feature can find it for you.
Think about what you’re planning to tweet. If you want to tweet about Isotonix OPC-3® for example, don’t just use the name of the product as a hashtag. Use Twitter’s search feature first to see if hashtag and terms like “antioxidant,” “anti-oxidant,” or “supplement” are trending. This can help you choose the most impactful terms to include in your Tweet.
It’s that easy to turn Twitter Search into a tool for success. Find out the latest buzz every day, and integrate trending hashtags and phrases into your tweets so more people see them!
Stay tuned! Every Monday we’ll be sharing more of our favorite inside techniques for using social media to grow your business. You can also find out more by checking out last week’s Social Media Monday post: Say It with a Snapshot.
