Creating Shopping Annuity with ma-Branded Products and Your Portal

The corporate sales team took the stage this morning to show just how easy it is to increase your shopping annuity by simply taking a look at your household items. Executive Vice President Dennis Franks, Executive Vice President Kevin Buckman, Vice President of Sales Jim Winkler, and Director of Field Development Andrew Weissman challenged everyone to look at the ‘negative products’ (non ma-branded products) in their respective households.

With day-to-day purchases, yearly upgrades and replacing broken products, you’re constantly purchasing something—vitamins, shampoo, lotion, cosmetics, appliances, gifts, apparel, etc. Andrew was the first to confess; some of his household items are ‘negative products.’ So what’s the big deal? The problem is, your business is missing out on BV and IBV. Creating shopping annuity through your household is the easiest way to grow your business.

As Jim pointed out, it just isn’t good business sense to be using other brands. Order ma-branded products for all your household needs—Motives® for cosmetics, Royal Spa® for beauty, Snap® for your dishes and clothes, Friction Free for your car and Isotonix® for your supplement needs. What’s more, for the items that you need that aren’t ma-branded products, all you have to do is visit your Portal. Use sites like alice.com and drugstore.com to stock your household with items like paper towels sandwich baggies. Earn Cashback, BV and IBV just by changing your shopping habits and increase your shopping annuity.

What you’ll find is that once you start using ma-branded products and Partner Store items throughout your household, it’s easier to recruit Preferred Customers (PCs) to use the products as well. The more knowledgeable and passionate you are about a product, the easier it is to talk about it with other people who might be interested in the same thing. “What we have is an example of a lot of people doing a little but makes a huge difference in your organization, and it gets PCs on board to shop on your Portal,” Dennis instructs.

The team did a great job at explaining how to duplicate this process. “If everyone would just take care of their business and duplicate within, your business will grow,” recalls Kevin. You sell what you use and what you believe in. The additional perk is that using the products will increase your BV and IBV because you will sale what you use.

The sales team left a final challenge. Start with your own household. Use the Home Shopping List to see what additional ma-branded products you could be using. Next, get your team to do it and your PCs. Get rid of all the ‘negative products’ in your household.  Kevin really put it in perspective, “The things that make the biggest difference in your business are the simplest things. You’ve got to take action. The most important thing you can do for your business is to duplicate this.”
