1999 proved to be a successful year in sales—not only for Market America but also for one of its top Independent Distributors. Business boomed as ma saw $100 million in retail sales, one hundred times the sales of the second year. Elizabeth Weber became the first Independent Distributor to earn in excess of $1 million, achieving the title of International Field President. She and her husband have continued to work as Independent Distributors, and now their grown children are including Market America in their future plans.
Elizabeth reached an unprecedented milestone just a few short years later in 2011— just as she was the first to reach International Field President, she was also the first UnFranchise Owner to reach International Field Chairman—the highest Pin Level in the UnFranchise Business.
Elizabeth has conquered so much with her success at Market America, creating The Weber Foundation of Helping Hands (theweberfoundation.com) and helping other UnFranchise Owners achieve their dreams with their respective businesses.
“I’m an average person with above-average desire. I work hard, but I play harder. It’s the reward for succeeding in business,” says Elizabeth. “But the biggest reward is helping someone’s dream become a reality. That’s why I continue to do it.”
Finishing out the year’s successes in 1999, Market America inaugurated the UnFranchise® Owner (UFO) program. The program has seen tremendous growth since its beginnings; there are thousands of UnFranchise Owners thriving worldwide, including Elizabeth and her team.
