Just a few days after yet another monumental International Convention, and the excitement continues. I would like to thank and congratulate all 25,000 Customer Managers, UFOs and prospects who helped make this the most successful event in the history of the company. We must capitalize on the momentum that was generated — the time is now to make it happen! We have spent the past six months working diligently on the implementation of new technology, branding the most advanced products, and securing powerful partnerships all to keep you and your organization on the cutting-edge in such a competitive market.
The entire weekend was packed with vital information and product releases, so if you were unable to attend, there is plenty of stuff to learn — the first lesson is don’t miss 2011 ma World Conference! I always stress the importance of attending these events, because there is so much announced on stage that it is nearly impossible to relay it all to someone who wasn’t there. It’s an experience that needs to be experienced firsthand.
I can give you a brief rundown of the major topics, but it’s extremely important that you follow up on all this with someone in your organization who did go.
- We put a lot of emphasis on merging the old with the new in order to take this business to the next level. The fundamentals of One-to-One Marketing (matching products to people and people to products) and recruiting/prospecting/sponsoring remain the exact same as they’ve been since the beginning. But now, with the explosion of activity over social networks, we’ve implemented incredible technology that allows UFOs to build the business bigger, better, faster and easier than ever. With ma Network, ma Chatterbox, ma Mobile and many other services and features we detailed during Convention, Customer Managers have access to hundreds of millions of new customers and potential business partners across the world!
- The unveiling of the new Portal, which went live just a few weeks ago, generated a huge response from the sold-old crowd. We demonstrated how easy it was to invite all your contacts with just one click to start getting paid to shop; we detailed the ma Toolbar and how it makes web surfing so much easier; we discussed the new Hot Deals and how people can personalize what deals they want pushed to them with coupon codes that will automatically be applied; we introduced a new service on the Portal called ma Auctions where customers can bid for the most popular items; and so much more!
- The ma Cashback program is always expanding, and the announcements made at Convention will blow your mind. We’ve started offering higher cash back on limited quantity items or for a limited timeframe…up to 50 percent cash back on specific Market America branded products! Plus, we make higher cash back products much more prominent so comparison shopping is a breeze and you know you’re getting the best deal and most cash back. With over 640 of the most popular e-retailers offering increased cash back (more than the 2 percent), why wouldn’t you want to share this opportunity with everyone you know? - We announced that the IBV requirements will temporarily be relaxed, although UFOs who are serious about success should be meeting these anyway. One of the biggest announcements was about our advertising campaign that will generate half a million IBV as an extra incentive that’s up for grabs by all UFOs who are meeting the requirements.
There are 8 different initiatives we outlined and are engaging in that will help pump the pool with IBV:
- Online Home Shopping List: Reprogram your mind to convert your buying habits to the Portal, which will generate more BV and IBV. Then, sit down with all your customers to walk them through the Online Home Shopping List and your business will grow exponentially.
- Higher Cashback Program: More cash back is being offered on select ma products for a limited time or limited quantity, plus special Partner Store deals like back to school and weekly increased cash back promotions are available.
- Invite Friends Tool: It is so important to get everyone in the field using the Invite Friends Tool to share the opportunity to get paid to shop. This is a no-brainer!
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool: This feature will work in conjunction with the lead generation program to produce a minimum number of leads for participating UFOs.
- Associate Preferred Customer Program: This will encourage your customers to invite their friends, as well as posting ma Widgets and banner ads to any third-party website, resulting in an avalanche of sales all tied back to your Portal.
- Social Media and SEO/SEM: We’ve brought experts on-board to help promote Market America throughout various social media channels, as well as implementing SEO/SEM strategies that will bring us to the top of any search.
- Client Privilege Program: This new program will encourage loyal customers to shop even more from the Portal. It provides UFOs the ability to offer custom, individual incentives to their favorite customers including free/reduced shipping, discounted retail prices, percentage discounts of orders at a certain amount, specific promo codes to be used on the Portal for ma products, and more.
- Instant IBV Placement for Partner Store Purchases: Currently, it takes approximately 45-90 days for IBV to be credited to an account. Soon, IBV will be tallied within 24-72 hours of any Partner Store purchase made by you or your customers. Even better, UFOs have the option to place the IBV wherever they want in their organization within 24 hours before it is auto-placed.

In the very near future, we will hold events in sold-out arenas packed with Directors and above; BV and IBV banks will exceed the requirements from an influx of customer orders; and the recruiting process will evolve into a selection process as entrepreneurs will be lining up to become UFOs.
