You have been told that there are many ways you can be successful, but it isn’t true! Imagine a surgeon deciding to operate without any formal education, or a new pharmaceutical drug being dispensed to the public without the proper research and testing. Either scenario would lead to unbelievable consequences – even death. Building a successful UnFranchise® business without getting the proper education results in the same thing – death of success!
Growing up, we were taught to go to school to get an education. I know it is because of that belief that I have achieved as much as I have in my life. It makes me wonder why everyone doesn’t think this way. Some people think, “I will go get trained after I make some money.” It is a ridiculous notion to think you will ever make real money without the necessary tools, strategy and mindset that you can only get at a big event. We go to college for four years with the hopes of finding a job. Why wouldn’t you invest up front for a business that can exceed the earning potential of some of the most prestigious professions in the world? Makes you think, right?
When I started building my UnFranchise seriously it was only two weeks before I attended World Conference in Miami. As a matter of fact, it was exactly twelve years ago that I woke up and decided to make this my profession and not a hobby. I spoke to my mentor and coach Elizabeth Weber and she told me the shortcut to success was to get to the event and bring four people. With only two weeks out you can imagine my concerns. The cost of flights will be higher; it is short notice, who will want to come with me? But I didn’t let that stop me from making it happen. Once I made a decision there was no stopping. I didn’t get four people to the event, I got twelve. I figured if four was good, twelve was better. That was the beginning of what today has led to a lifestyle that we had only dreamed of.
History just repeated itself yesterday. We meet with a lovely couple that is looking for more, and after seeing the business plan they decided they wanted to get started. Following the ONLY road to success, we asked them to join us at World Conference in Miami in two weeks. They bought their tickets, purchased their airfare and now are on the ONLY road to success!
