Last week, SHOP.COM jet-set from 4 different corporate offices to the beautiful city of Chicago for three days of networking at Internet Retailer’s powerhouse event. This year marked the 10th annual Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition, the world’s largest ecommerce event. As always, with our UnFranchise® Owners and customers in mind, SHOP.COM wants to make sure we can provide the best products and services to you, so attendance at IRCE 2014 was a must! SHOP.COM displayed a booth on the concourse, ready to educate fellow retailers and service providers on the glamour of SHOP.COM and all that we have to offer. We spoke with potential merchants about joining the SHOP.COM marketplace and becoming a new partner store! We met with several other groups about partnering up with their services in order to improve the look and feel of SHOP.COM even more!
Almost a dozen of our corporate employees attended daily sessions, trainings and talks with top name executives from some of the largest and most successful ecommerce marketplaces around. The different discussion tracks included: Technology, Video, Global E-Training, Strategies for Retailers and Executives, E-Marketing, Customer Service, Fulfillment, Business-to-Business, Design, Merchandising and Social Media and Commerce!
SHOP.COM and Market America are ranked 57th on Internet Retailers list of top 500 largest retail websites. We are improving, making changes and enhancements on a daily basis with no plans on slowing down.
