Did you know that September is Baby Safety Month? Our babies are the most precious little things in life and the last thing we want to do is put them in harm’s way. That is why we need to be proactive and take steps to ensure our little angels are safe when riding in a car.
I wanted to share with you some information I just found out from my fiancé. He is a fireman who recently became a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. He is now able to check and make sure car seats are installed correctly. He checks to make sure all latches are secured tightly, there’s no damage to the seat itself, and it’s facing the right direction.
Not sure where you can get your car seat inspected? Call your local fire department and ask if someone at the station is certified. Most fire departments have a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician on staff that will be happy to help you.
Don’t have a car seat yet? Go to Market America’s Kids & Baby category to find the right seat for you. And remember, it Pays to Shop at MA!
