MLK believed in a world where individuals were treated equally because he understood the American Dream was meant to be an ideal that every man and woman could aspire to – regardless of race, religion, or any other factor.
King led the struggle for civil rights equality, with a message of love and acceptance, rather than bitterness or anger. He was a true American hero, and his role in the Civil Rights Movement helped make this country a better place.
Martin Luther King, Jr. understood the importance of equality of opportunity, and understood this is what makes America great.
