ma Cashback updated for iTransact

Recently, we improved how the ma Cashback and iTransact work together.  The ma Cashback program for iTransact customer managers will now allow any order where the customer uses cashback or a gift card to pay for part of their order, to be processed like a normal iTransact order.

Previously, if a customer used cashback on an order in conjunction with an iTransact customer manager, these were automatically passed through.  Now, customer manager’s with iTransact accounts will have the ability to fulfill the order from their own inventory or elect to pass the order through to Market America and still retain all of the other benefits that they would have normally as a customer manager with iTransact.

This new feature also works seamlessly with the recent launch of the tiered shipping program, and we’re very excited to be able to release this to help increase the number of distributors with iTransact and help them be even better one-to-one customer managers with their customer base.

Example:

A customer comes to a portal of a customer manager with iTransact and they place a $100 order.  At checkout, they decide to use $10 cashback, which they earned shopping at Internet retailer, Market America, to pay for part of the order.  The customer’s credit card will be charged by iTransact for $90 and that money will be deposited into the customer manager’s checking account like normal.  The remaining $10 will be moved from the customer’s Cashback account into the customer manager’s Credit on Account.

We’re very excited to release this upgrade to help increase the effectiveness of Market America’s customer managers with iTransact and to help them be even better at one-to-one marketing with their customer base.
