SHOP.COM Has a Fresh New Design!

We have some exciting news to share with you! One of the highlights of MAIC 2013 was the debut of a brand new home page redesign for SHOP.COM! We put a lot of hard work into making the new design (across the entire site) easier to improve the customer experience, with a new Trends page layout, Home Advisor section, updated MyLists and more! 

Home Page Redesign 

The new home page of SHOP.COM looks completely different, doesn’t it? Banners are larger and more prominent and you can now click on multiple products within a banner! It’s now easy to sign up for email deals straight from the home page and click off to our latest campaigns (Home Advisor, BMV by SHOP.COM Marketplace, etc.). Not only are there scroll bars for our biggest brands, but you can also scroll through our newest products.

Trends

We recently published a blog post with all of the new Trends details! Now that Trends is more social and user-friendly, how will you use it to build your business? Field leaders Tony and Michele Molinaro constantly use Trends to grow their business. How do they do it? Here’s what Michele had to say:

“Trends allows us to place products on SHOP.COM into one location and email it or post it on social media. This makes it easy for the customer to locate the products we mentioned to them. Here’s an example: a girlfriend messaged me requesting information about products that could help her lose weight and increase her energy. Rather than reply back with a few links, I created a Trend for her. I added the Isotonix® Energy Booster Kit and an Isotonix® Detox Kit to the page. I replied to her, letting her know I set up her customer profile along with a personalized page with the products she was asking about. She clicked the link, and in minutes I had a $199.00 sale with a $62.90 retail profit and 85 BV.

It really is that simple! All you have to do is make it easy for people to find what they are looking for. We repeat this process not only for customers but also for prospects looking into the business. A lot of times they want to research particular products further, and this is a great way to make it simple for them while at the same time showing them the different features available on the site.”

Upcoming

Marc Ashley announced at MAIC several new enhancements to come along with the new design we’ve implemented across the site. You’ll soon be able to customize your home page with ads that relate to your audience and your own featured trends. We’ll let you know as soon as this feature is available to you!

Marc also gave the audience a glimpse at the new layout of the store index for SHOP.COM. Partner Stores and OneCart Partners will be much easier to search when this new feature goes in to effect.
